I know the rule. Although i was sure it was only if it were to another club within the same league.
I think if both clubs come to an agreement it could happen, but as stated earlier it is a rumour. Although i have since been told that whitmar is a definite, Certain starter next year. If true, Do we give him the Bowen with his clearance?
League is a little better than when Robbie was about last, plus has not played much football in the past 3 years from what I have been told, and especially after he was called "Soft" by a few of his would be teammates at the start of last year, would be interesting how he would react to that too... But a great player who would be very hard to stop....
The rule applies to all competitions under the AFL Vic rules... The clubs would have to come to an agreement, but the transfer would then also have to be approved by AFL Vic... They created the rule for a reason and would be a little hesitant to grant approval IMO...
