I think clubs just look after their own backyard. No use worrying bout anyone else. Do your head in with the amount of BS that gets bandied about in the leagues.Not to me

Is there any truth to the rumour that the redbacks have two former essendon players onboard. One being Heffernan??????

I heard the rocca rumour. Would that make riddell favourites for the cup?
There's plenty of clubs talking themselves up at the minute - I feel sorry for the 3-4 committee's who have upped their expenditure and wont contest finals.

also its sounding like the year of the full fowards. aaron james will go good 4 kilmore.moorcroft 4 romsey.rocca 4 riddell. lee james and meecham 4 sunbury.not to give too much away but woodend are soon to have two Big Gun full fowards. quiet but confident

He came out and said in the press the other day that he has put that NFL trial on the back burner for at least a coupe of years. Geez if he lines up for Riddell, he'd be kicking them from the centre. At Diggers he could launch one from CHB and nearly make the distance with a strong breeze behind him.
Scott lucas is reported to be on a contract of $50;000 for Greenvale, Anthony Rocca would get the same with Marbo, coached by his mate Broady Holland, i dont think Riddell would be spending that sought of $ on one player.

His best friends with the Riddell president. He may be only up to playing 6 or 7 games as his body is stuffed. If he went into the EDFL he would be expected to perform and train at level that he may not able to. Also the president of Riddell is very well off. This is a big chance o happen.
Why would Riddell pay a bloke big money if his body was stuffed and may only play 6-7 games???
Probably for the same reason for a club paying big bucks for a player that if he gets rubbed out for 1 week he would be de-registered. In the hope that it doesn't happen and they get more games and maybe a flag out of it.
His body maybe stuffed for AFL but he would dominate in our comp, who would you play on Rocca from your club?

Have not heard that one.
And as above stuffed for AFL level but still dominant in the RDFL. It would not be for massive money - but like Gary the return would be great - through people that would going to watch Rocca play.

Every club is trying to improve which intern will only make the league get stronger. There is always clubs who miss finals . What would your advice be to the lower clubs of last year Doona ?

He's currently playing for Heidelberg in NFL at present isn't he? Wld think he'd command fair amount of coin too to play in RDFL.
The RDFL has already met with KFNC officials, consulted AFLVic. Due dilligence conducted to the best of the club/leagues ability.

Just got word - 100% Rocca has put pen to paper. Will be O/S for the 1st part of the year but will play for Riddell when he returns. Will qualify for finals. That is game set match is he is fit finals time.
