The Real MO FO
Debutant
Sorry to the Macedon Boy's. You played with heart and for each other! Even after my rant I still considered you played far more superior football on Saturday. Sorry to hijack your win..

Ok so i'm upset that the Rid Dicoulos Football League would give you a game against Macedon. That is not your fault. But what I saw Reece (apologies for the incorrect spelling, either now or before hand.) I honestly think you are better than that. Maybe that is why I am so harsh on your performance.
I'll leave you with this. You Finally Paid a free kick to Sunbury late in the first half and we all rose as one (both standing and in voice) Surely you heard this. It just proves I'm not making this shit up. And also That I'm not alone in the Assesment of your game on saturday.
P.S It's not the first time you have umpired the Kanga's this year. But results have been similiar (umpiring I Mean}
I'll Leave saying this... I expect fully for you to get final games... Maybe even a grand final. Just Be CONSISTANT and you will go along way.
I still stand by my earlier comments.
Grub. Did your knock to the head (broken nose) make you forget what you saw?? My Sauces tell me you were more than upset with the umpires............
IMS, Once again I respect your post But the fact the Kanga's are digging deep right now (injury wise) Can't understand why you would put them last on the performance list.

well for starters MO FO there is a reason i didn't put anything about the other umpire!! i think reece done a great job after half time and was good in the first half and i will stand by that.. now tell me why your worrying about where ims put us on HIS preformance list. cause to me its his opinion. i have read all his babble after riddlle and then this week and was going to reply to it but thought i have seen him coach and heard he may have played a few senior games many years ago where he may have got a few kicks.however as much i like the bloke its only his opinion which i dont rate highly and thats my opinion!!! but if your worrying about what he writes mate your worrying about the wrong things....
HIS proformance list is exactly that HIS not our clubs!!
ps. i wonder if this will get me a red card![]()
Nope... Why would it, that is about as spot on as you have ever been and you are not spot on very often...
Whether anyone rates my opinion or not, it is only my opinion and shouldn't need a disclaimer...
Ps. I think you are a good guy too pal with very little knowledge and an excellent footballer on your day in the RDFL ranks , and you know what, I have known your opinion (along with your brother's) for many years and I have said it before and shall say it again, that is your opinion and you are more than entitled to have it....
We all have our own opinions mate....

There's obviously no point arguing with you, but how can the captain of the team and one of their closest followers say I did a good job but you still disagree?
Of course I heard you all rise as one, the only thing that proves is you are all Sunbury Kangaroos supporters. I also heard comments 3 minutes into the game telling me you know where I lived.....If that was a suggestion of bias, how can you judge that in 3 minutes of football![]()
Hmmm, having interleague training on a Thursday night, so if a team wants to use their best players in training drills for an up coming match, they cant do this, due to their best players being at interleague training, ordinary decission, i'm all for the interleague game, but training should not clash with club training. We will find out tomorrow night after training Matt![]()
And the showers were a discrace.![]()
Put a complaint into the Melton Council, we have been for the last three weeks and they still haven't done something!! Apologies to the boys...
Hey george how are those showers going, hopefully they'll be all sorted for next week.If your still having problems with the council, speak to the league to act on behalf of opposition clubs, perhaps draft a letter for them to forward on.
Not arguing with you mate. Just putting facts out there. Its a discussion/debate. Yes i was harsh on you. but i'm not making stuff up! Just reporting what I saw. I know for a fact that Grub was filthy with you and your colleague at half time. Hence why he spoke to you two at half time.
Just because IMS is one of our closest followers doesn't mean he is right! Plus he is part of the Ri Diculous Football League. So he has forced love for the rdfl and it's employees!
On Macedon, they loom as a real smokey this year to go deep into the finals, their playing a very exciting but physical brand of footy at the moment. Confidence is a wonderful, but essential ingredient in footy.
Same thing was being said this time last year.
No it wasnt really doona. I dont think they were ever considerd a threat last year nor are they this year. They are still very young and although they are very good on there day they are probably still not ready to challenge the likes of riddell come september. If they can maintain there list they will eventually pull off the big one. Any scores or results on inter league match against sfl?

James Turner 3 Bus votes, i just hope he kept his pants on!Well, regardless of results etc, Saturday was a fantastic day, from start to finish and before I start I would just like to say a big congratulations to all players from both the Under 18 side and the Senior side for representing the league with pride and respect all day....
The bus arrived at the ground just on quarter time of the Under 18 game that provided the spectators at the ground with a fantastic curtain raiser to the main game. In a repeat of the game from 12 months ago, both of these sides gave everything in a see-sawing contest that had more twists and turns than a roller coaster. Eventually the young RDFL guys got over the line with young Kangaroo Mitch Strieff a standout, I think in the end he booted 4 or 5 goals (not totally sure of his final tally).
The senior boys were pumped up at the opportunity to represent the league and even though our preparation for the game wasn't the best in the end, we were extremely proud of the group of young men assembled to represent the competition.
The first quarter began at a frenetic pace, both sides attacked the ball extremely hard and while the SFL clearly had an advantage early around the stoppages with their ability to use handball to create space, the RDFL boys, the backline in particular, were up for the challenge. The SFL dominated early but the RDFL were able to hold up and eventually control the ball through the middle stages of the quarter, Cam Dawson in particular a standout, his contested marking and ability to find space creating headaches for the SFL, he had two shots on goal and three opponents as the opening quarter drew to a close, the RDFL unable to capitilize on what was a pretty good opening, trailing 0.3 to 1.1 at quarter time.
The second quarter saw the SFL step up a gear, they were really getting on top in the stoppages and were first to the ball, breaking tackles freely and winning contested situations, but the RDFL boys, as we knew they would, refused to lie down, Tom Waters and Leigh Fishenden were giving everything in the ruck contests and Waters in particular on the ground was giving a great contest. Dawson, who had been quiet early in the quarter again started to find the ball, first with a free kick that he set up Meacham for the RDFL's first goal, then assisting in a goal to Dean Smith-Whiting, after letting the SFL kick away a little, the RDFL had narrowed the lead and went into the half time break 23 points down.
After half time the RDFL midfield started to break even in the stoppages, Shaun Sims who had a great first half moved onto one of the SFL's best stoppage players in the first half and shut him out of the contest, allowing Carl Groth, Dean Smith-Whiting and Craig Marshall to win clearances, but the SFL were able to control the middle stages of the quarter and looked to be well on top pushing the lead out to 40 points at one stage before the Cam Dawson/Dean Smith-Whiting show started to wind up. Groth, Jim Turner and Matthew Welsh were finding plenty of the ball through the middle while Kane Bullen was providing plenty of dash and drive from the half back line. Smith-Whiting kicked a beautiful goal around his body followed by a mark and goal set up by Dawson and Sims. When Jim Turner goaled the RDFL had slashed the lead to 23 points and had a slight sniff going into the last term.
An early goal the Smith-Whiting had the RDFL boys up and about early in the final term, but the signs were starting to show that the RDFL had given everything in the tank. Cole Laurie was finding plenty of the ball while John Ryan continued his outstanding afternoon, continually winning contests against the monster SFL full forward. But in the end, the SFL were able to kick away as the RDFL boys just ran out of puff, the SFL recording a comfortable 45 point win, but don't take anything away from any of the players that represented the league, they gave everything they had until they had nothing left and did themselves and all RDFL supporters very proud.....
Congrats to Dean Smith-Whiting for winning the medal for best on ground for the RDFL. (Cam Dawson - Very Unlucky)
