I can't confirm, but given the fact 2 others have taken jobs elsewhere before they got to an interview stage and a 3rd has just rung to say he lucked out then your mail would be mighty accurate.

As for the Diggers thing, the old bush telegraph has been goin off its **** since last Friday but its best to wait for an official club statement to find out what the bloody hell happened there

I can confirm now as it's on the club facebook page.

Dont know Jarrad but I wish him well, and hope like buggery that some of those who didn't want to represent Kilmore FC during my time there can get back to the club and support him

Nope, Spoke to Peddo today, he withdrew from the race.. Believe that Mongrel is well and truly in the mix though.

So what actually happened with Elliot? From the outside looking in he was an excellent coach. Was it as simple as they didn't win a flag in the last 2 years? Will tuckey stay?

Hard to say the diggers reasoning from afar. Coaches move on all the time. Look at Spotty in the WRFL, Helmers after runners up at Sunbury, Power 2 years after a flag at Riddell, Pedo after a succesful stint at Roma. Who can say what happens at clubs? I'm sure the decisions are not made lightly.

this is a strange situation. Very hard to read into. Obviously jamie elliot has done a great job at diggers and flags are very hard to win. But without knowing all the details I would have thought that it was a no brainer to keep things as they were. The few times I watched diggers this year simms played extremely well which suggests to me that he should/ will play on. Surely diggers arent going down the path of a playing coach? I would have thought common sense would say let elliot coach until simms retires because lets face it simms was always going to coach the burra at some point. Anyway like I said we can only speculate at this point but I know for certain that jamie elliot would be very very disappointed!!!!!
