With a couple of teams already done for season 2013, and the Team of The Year (1s & 3rds) to be named in a few weeks, as well as the Bowen just wondering what people are thinking on the outcomes of them?

- Who picks the U18 T.O.Y? - Are coaches asked to submit players?
- Who's the front runners for the Bowen?

Also this weeks Rising Star - Has it been announced??

- Who do you think will take it out?

Nick Sheldon wins the Rising Star despite OMNI'S suggestion :D

I would've thought Shaun Austin was polling ok prior to his injury in the Broadford night game. Al Meldrum has managed to be named Macedons best 3-4 times hasn't he? Maybe little Foreman will get a few early and obviously Tuckey should poll right thru as will Jamie Cuffe.

Surely one of my 5 stabs will give it a nudge?

I'll take a stab and say that Alex Shipard will take out the Rising Star award.. he was one of few youngsters alongside Alex Desmond to play in the Senior interleague team and he's been named in the best virtually every week for the Hawks.. I'm still remaining firm that Jamie Cuffe will take the Bowen.. he is a champion :)

What do they call them things we're people sit in a big circle and thrash $hit out? Whatever it is I reckon a few of these Romsey folks need to do it and sort out whatever it is they're posting about as it's all getting a bit confusing for non Redbacks on here .....

Riddell into even money youd reckon after today's win over Sunbury, most people seem to think they're home .... surely it's theirs to lose from here.

Just looked on the rdfl website and it says lancefield is now playing rupo on Saturday! In elimination final!
Is it now a top 8 or top 6???

How do Sunbury get 3 home finals in week 1?

Does it really matter? Both clubs are local to the area, so the crowd will be massive and if all 3 footy sides were shipped off elsewhere who'd be there volunteer wise to run the Boardman Final in their absence?

As a rupo player I would rather play Sunbury in Sunbury than have to travel to kilmore. Will be a lot of local interest in these three games. If you lose and blame it on the other teams home ground advantage you are kidding yourself.

Best thing I've read in a while, perfect attitude too many play the blame game 'round here.

Why the two best performed sides of the season (Riddell & Diggers Rest) are scheduled to play their final on the most inferior venue of the three on offer completely baffles me !!!!!...... On second thoughts, no it doesnt !!!
