I noticed last week all the girlfriends wore their boyfriends number on a grey replica Burra's Guernsey

Aj does it and he gets his doubled to 4 years. four weeks and two years for the same offence (at the tribunal) does not seem right. Even though two years is rediculous, it should of been 2 years and four weeks for the chair incident not an extra 2 years.

chicken machine said:Just out of interest was thinking of playing in this league next year so thought id check out the tread and look at the posts over the season, and i must although i havnt been to game from reading what has happened especially in the finals there is no way in the world that i will be playing in this league next yr. Rocks being thrown, family members abused what sort of people attend these games and how is this allowed. As for the AJ incident, abusing umpires is not accepted however the umpires should be controlling the game to the extent that players should respect the umps decisions and for any player to be abusing an ump means that fair decisions have not been made and as a result the game gets out of hand. sounds like there are a few problems in this league with behavior and drinking at games
If James was acting like a 5 yr old at the tribunal how old do you suggest the tribunal members were acting?vantheman32 said:whinge whinge!
his behaviour on sunday at kilmore, was disgusting simple as that! who charges at an umpire! hits sumone in the crowd! i understand that he cops alot of **** from the crowd but he bites back at them n this encourages the crowd to get into him more! **** id love to be a man mountain and tell people in the crowd to " get on this side of fence" these stupid scare tactics are useless! im dissapointed he got suspended for so long! but his behavious was terrible and then cracking the "sads" at tribunal, hes a grown man acting like a 5 yr old! hopefully this decision doesnt prevent high profile players coming to the RDFL because we wont to make this league stronger! but in the future how bout high profile players with a bit of class and no anger problems! he should just concentrate on the footy! then he woodnt have 2 worry bout the d ickheads in the crowd! n they are d ickheads! and he gives out just as much as he recieves on the field! thats that!
cheers i know ill cop a spray for this post but hell its just an opinion

4 years what a joke some don't get 4 years for rape or murder the guy didn't even touch anyone it was all words!
Umpires should get a thicker skin or start umpiring as they see it and stop looking the other way!!!
This incident was always on the cards given recent history of mob at A.J. games that coupled with the provocative thread posts before game would have led me to believe that any forward thinking R.D.F.L. official would have possitioned the nomadic security people where they were most needed, BEHIND THE GOALS ! Thats where I was to watching the much hyped clash of 2 titans going at it. Must say the stocky bald umpire did a great job, reporting umpires appeared to fall into bad intransigent habits, grandstanding by over reacting. Guess now they got their 15 mins of fame. He should have got 6 for chargeing at him and 2 for language {maybe]. Tribunal wobbley, well who knows ! But that panel should NOT have heard it, should have gone up on another night in front of slightly less compromised group. Also hope career tribunal member {with rodent nickname} did'nt sit on case after seeing him view game. Dont think you can be objective and fair doing that ! Tribunal has a very tough but important job and should be seen to be doing that job with integrity through just and fair outcomes not what appears to have transpired here, a knee jerk career ending crucifixion sentance ! And no I am not a Kanga or connected to em.blues12 said:your right it doesn't sound good in some aspects, unfortunately people always talk about the bad, the league has infact moved forward, unfortunately on 3 occassions this year the guard has been let down, and things got out of hand.

Luv ya workThats_Special said:For the right to take on the defending champs Riddell in the Grand Final.
Diggers Rest played some great football last week in thier win over Sunbury. Marchewka and Heritage filled the holes left by Jose and Hoare easily, and with all 4 of these guys, plus Campbell Walshe back in this week the Burra are in a strong position for this game.
Sims spent a bit of time up forward last week and will probably look to do the same this week while Bowen Medallist Steve Ruane, who was quiet last week, will look to stamp his influence on the game.
The player to watch for the Burra is Cole Laurie, while people no doubt will start thinking im in love with this guy, he, for me, has been the standout player of the finals series so far.. He is the one guy I would pay money to watch play football, and he will be the difference in this game, as he was last week.
The Hawks were BORING against Riddell last week, as they were the week before against Diggers, the only difference in the Diggers game was that they worked out to kick the ball to Mick Lacy while the game was still in the balance, rather than waiting until it was done and dusted (Riddell).
Warren Else was superb last week, while Kar Weng had no impact on the game at all.
The Hawks need to lift, its finals now, time for them to play the football we all know they are capable of.
The key to the Hawks is Dale Cuinik, if he can get out by himself can be very damaging and if he starts to get alot of the ball its look out Diggers.
For me Diggers will win by 18 points..

"Innocent Lancefield & Kilmore players" Well there's an oxymoron if ever I've heard one !vantheman32 said:the guy didnt touch anyone haha where were you standing? i was standing behind the goals with a few other innocent lancefield and kilmore players and we were witness to the whole brawl. terrible incident that wasnt started because of rock throwing! it was because of drunk hoons and an old ******** that was swearing at a woman and getting hit by a woman! n then to see and i reitirate see AJ hit a man in the crowd! your obviously a bling sighted sunbury supporter and more likely a blind drunk person at the footy that sets bad examples for young children in the crowd! people are scared of the truth. open your eyes at the footy!

Even though he wasn't found guilty of it I think this incident has probably lead to the unusually long suspension. Good to hear a neutrals perspective and also that of someone who actually saw what happened rather than people making up a story as they go along.vantheman32 said:the guy didnt touch anyone haha where were you standing? i was standing behind the goals with a few other innocent lancefield and kilmore players and we were witness to the whole brawl. terrible incident that wasnt started because of rock throwing! it was because of drunk hoons and an old ******** that was swearing at a woman and getting hit by a woman! n then to see and i reitirate see AJ hit a man in the crowd! your obviously a bling sighted sunbury supporter and more likely a blind drunk person at the footy that sets bad examples for young children in the crowd! people are scared of the truth. open your eyes at the footy!

Yes i did have words with a woman ,but it was to tell her to stop her swearing! That was also me who was hit by the same woman.i can only assume that it is also me who is being blamed for throwing stones. people who know me both from rovers and diggers rest should know that there is no way i would be throwing stones at anyone nor would accept that behavior from anyone.as i was there for the whole 2hd 1/4 i am sure i would have seen any stones that were thrown as would have the goal umpire.and no i wasnt drinking. ps ease up on the old part
