Who said i was from sunburylions?? i dont think that got mentioned, hey i may be from sunbury kangaroos, woodend , rupo, romsey...any of them. i believe that the kangaroos are going nowhere. actually i do run a high profit sporting club...have you ever heard of the sunbury kangaroos badminton club? they have more of an idea on how to play a sport. the brand of the sunbury kangaroos is known as the diggers rest side of sunbury. everybody knows that.thats why im changing things around that yuk joint. they are the worst sporting club in sunburyat preseent time. Who is james mcgrath and james house, and also that australian idol???if they play 1 senior game this year please let me know as I will get my 5 year old daughter and she would get a game and earn myself a slab. also they are the biggest recruits you will ever get. and hold onto matt welsh and baddely...they r the only good to come out of the kangaroos. sunb kanagaroos are dreaming of becoming even an ordinary football club, look at the facilities. pfft...got nothing. if you were a good manager of a club you would put money into actually providing footballs at training not basketballs.u see i provide my team with feathers but no hard thing on the end. at least the kangas hav a crak i should giv them a break. they are an established club with great players. do i giv a poo where it all started, im the present and taking this badminton club places like you wouldnt believe. RDFL is more like Riddell District Fairy League. You are the weakest link. goodbye. up the nanagoon 3rds

Obviously with your higher level of intelligence due to the post above, you clearly are a much higher species to us plebs in the RDFL...

One question though.... How long did you actually get to stay in school before they realised that there was no possible way you could actually learn something basic, like, I dont know... Punctuation and spelling...

Just one more thing.. Everyone on here wants to lay down thier opinions on James House or Jimmy McGrath, or even Leigh McInerney.

Is it just that you people who decide to bag these guys behind thier back... As usual... Are a little upset that nobody mentions your names anywhere, be it on your own Ballarat League threads, or VAFA threads...?

If you dont rate these guys, what does it have to do with you??? Are they keeping you out of a senior game? Are they better than you?? Is that the issue? Because obviously it is having a huge impact on your life that the Kangaroos have no players... We will just have to sit back and see, to be honest, I would not have it any other way.. I'd rather see these guys than players paid hundreds of dollars a week to choke come finals time, that goes for both Rupo and Sunbury... Oh, thats right, Rupo aint allowed to pay players.. Sorry guys, Just keep that brown paper bag full of cash under the table... Good to see school money going to such a good use...

Riddell without James would be happy to win 3 of those 4... I think possibly only 2 wins in those 4 games. 1 win being worst case... They wont or shouldnt have any problems with Lancefield, the other 3 will be tougher.

been down there quite a number of successful years thats special, including the grand final 2 years ago. unfortunately we lost but hey...id love to see the kangaroos even get a goal at that level. good luck to you all in the riddell district fairy league, i mean football after thats specials comments. im in 2 places at once on saturday...playing for bernards and also at the badminton at the kangaroos in their changerooms. Go Riddell. Tell james house that steve says hi...he knows who i am.

HERE HERE spoke - finally something other than sunbury kangas talk!!! I think they will account for lancefield easily, though a few mates play there im hoping they dont - aswell as melton central, but i think they will be up against it against diggers. as for the blues, we would love to play them with jamesy to get a better guage of where we are at, but i guess you take the good with the bad! im relieved though as i had been told i would possibly get the job...

Sunbury kangaroos jnr football club have been in more winning GRAND FINALS then diggers rest,rupo and Sunbury lions in the last 4 years in snr football Sunbury kangaroos is a up and coming team with all the young skilled players involved in the club.
on a final note i am suprised that a man with no balls can even comment on a game that uses them.

Romsey's biggest weakness is their rucking this year, with the loss of Ryan Connellan. Melton Central don't have a great rucking combination so I think over the field Romsey will be able to match them, having the home ground will help. If Melton had a good ruck then I would back them in, thats my logic.

HAHAHAHAHA you are a funny one. 1 thing to note on that, i havent been involved in the riddell league recently but sources tell me that kangaroos juniors are in B grade??? is that correct?? can someone please tell me, where as sunbury and rupertswood are in the better grades. could nt care about juniors as this thread is RDFL not RDJFL, just contradicted myself though as we have been talking about sunbury lions and rupertswood but oh well. settle down lads. its all a bit of banter. Steady on! Sam Bowen is only 18 and has an inmature body. He has played 2 years of senior footy and is well known to every other club. Not because he is simply flashy. He can play!
I dont think Bendigo would invite him up to do a pre-season and then put him on a contract for year if he didnt possess a bit more than just flashy skills. He will return to Woodsy for a few games throughout year and will be a grest player for them. Do not forget he came 5th in League Medal in 2004 as a 17 year old who only played 12 senior games.

Lee James was obviously the standout. Matt Robertson was under rated by many teams I think. Shaun Sims is an excellent player. Mick McCarthy is a good a backman as anyone in the comp. Some players i have thought to be over rated are: Col Gadsden, Sam Bowen, Daniel Carroll and Jeremy Collins.

true true but last year in under 16s it was all 1 league and Sunbury kangaroos beat sunbury bye 100 points rupo bye also 100 points and gisbourne grand final 4 goals so tell me who is a better team now that you know the facts

I just heard from a friend of a friend that ex-calder cannon, werribee and lancefield player Steve Burlak has decided to quit his VFL career to take up a role at Romsey.

thepurplepassion was right about Romsey's ruck weaknesses, but
Burlak and Meldrum should be able to fill the void and do a better job than Connellan.

Agree... Huge if Burlak has departed the Tigers for Romsey.. Last nail really.. Although Steve did have a relationship with Kevin Fitzy in the Under 16's... But Steve Burlak will push Romsey right back into contention.. Covers the loss of Connellan for sure.

Could easily play both ruck and forward, will spend more time up forward though, but eases pressure on Meldrum is what I meant by covering the loss of Connellan.
