Must be hard to be productive at work with the constant distraction of wondering why someone called you Ben when Ben's not actually your name.
There was a lot of other waffle around that but I can see what's really going on. Perhaps print your name in a large bold font and stick it prominently on your desk partition.

That was worth the wait. I couldn't fully enjoy the read as in the back of my mind was a growing concern we'll be out of milk at work by tomorrow morning and I won't be able to make a coffee before the new milk delivery arrives, but it was still great.

Do A and B know each other and socialise outside of work? Could B be a thirst trap? Either way that broom closet is going to get a work out.

When I read that line in Quinz post something triggered my subconscious and then I heard "they call me Stacey, they call me Jane!.."

Oh Q

Can't see a universe in which this ends well....

Therefore have as much fun as you can along the way before it all bursts into flames?

What's the tipping point here I wonder. Lose your job, lose the girl, but successfully complete on-premise broom closet threesome. If Quinny is young enough to rebuild that's not all downside.

How I now imagine Quinz sitting at work...

Do you have a standalone clock Quinz, or is your computer not connected to the internet? It's hard to imagine how a clock could not be working in this day and age.
It's got to be a standalone clock because yeah there's no way.
What concerns me most about this whole saga is that it drifted by ~ 11 minutes since he was last at work. They really don't make clocks like they used to.
Between that and the whole Ben thing I can see why Q could be feeling less comfortable than usual being back at work this week. It's far from ideal.
Still, that was day 1. A bit early for co workers to be snapping at him all day.

Yeah I know. I feel like I've told both of them where I stand and they've trampled right past it anyway. My problem is I'm not forceful enough and I find it very difficult to ignore people. And the fact that I want to take A on a SpaceX trip to Mars and live forever in our own world as King and Queen of the red planet in blissful everlasting paradise does not help. She is so far too good for me it's not funny.

I'm actually having a bad time. I used to like going to work. Everyone was nice and I didn't have to see them or talk to them when I wasn't there.

Now I can't even sit at my desk without feeling those peering eyes... stay back foul demon.

If only your internet friends warned you of this way back when

Ah yes my apologies

Edit: have I now lost my ability to quote?

Edit edit: nope just this one single post for some reason
I deleted the quote as per Quinz request in the earlier post

Say JK wins another flag before he hangs the boots up would he be an option?

These are J Browns stats for his hall of fame:

3 flags
3 bnf
1 coleman
256 games
2 AA
596 Goals
Captain

JK:

1 Flag
0 bnF - Polls highly though and in our good years.
2 Coleman - Almost had 3.
244 games but should get to 260-264 barring injury + finals and could play next year
3 AA
611 Goals - Should get more this year.
Vice Captain.

Dont get me wrong J Brown was a good player but he really onl y3 great years during the 07-2009 seasons where he was among the best FF's. JK has played some great for longer periods of time and deserves to be rated above J Brown..
