Digital age is great for ease in this case, but it also allows people to be remorseless ********s. Had people just not show up altogether which infuriates me just thinking about it.

At least he didn't agree to $150, then show up with only $50 and not mention this until after you'd helped him load it into his truck.

I find it extremely rude. Particularly those that just send a seriously lowball offer with nothing other than "$50". I don't mind a hard negotiator or even a cheeky lowball but put some effort into it.
Luckily the ones I've eventually interacted with in person to finalise a purchase/sale have been pretty good but overall it's a horrible experience. People are pretty terrible.

This was well known in cricketing circles back in the day. He got banned from one of the English leagues for his behaviour. He's one of those characters that troubles just seems to follow around.
