I had an electronic keyboard on there for $150 once. Guy messages me and offers $50. I replied "lol no" and closed the conversation.

Digital age is great for ease in this case, but it also allows people to be remorseless ********s. Had people just not show up altogether which infuriates me just thinking about it.

At least he didn't agree to $150, then show up with only $50 and not mention this until after you'd helped him load it into his truck.

I'd refuse to be responsible for my actions if that happened to me.

I find it extremely rude. Particularly those that just send a seriously lowball offer with nothing other than "$50". I don't mind a hard negotiator or even a cheeky lowball but put some effort into it.
Luckily the ones I've eventually interacted with in person to finalise a purchase/sale have been pretty good but overall it's a horrible experience. People are pretty terrible.

I’ve found Facebook marketplace to be a bit better but haven’t used either for a few years now

The chaff to wheat ratio is high but all my face to face Gumtree experiences have been pretty good.

I bumped into MacGill (literally) and he spilt a speck of his drink on himself at the Leedi in 1999. I apologised and he said "It's okay but if you do it again I'll *en kill you." I lol'd and a friend got in his face.

I'd just like to clarify I was not in NSW on the weekend.

Ha has always been a loose unit.

Didn't he get in trouble a couple of years back?

Are you English? MacGill was savage on Englishmen in 1999.

Wonder if it was threat for a gambling debt of some kind? haha
Apparently one of the guys was well known to McGill and the arrests were done by a specialist response division setup for bikies and organised crime.

Doesn’t sound like a random attack
