I know a guy who has never voted his entire life and somehow manages to keep ducking the odd chase up. He's also never completed a single Census and he's no spring chicken. Reckons it's like being forced to choose which of two ares-hole Bosses you will take a length from and then completing a forced dictatorial demand of all personal info so the Boss can leverage you to keep your mouth shut about the whole "Rogering".

On the other hand, our legal obligation to vote prevents the passage of laws that claim to prevent fraud by making voting more difficult, like America is currently enjoying.

Going to try and vote today after being stuck in the bosses office until late yesterday not copping a rogering. Weather looks too good and I have too much to do Saturday to stand in line at the school.

Be warned, they’ll ask you to confirm you’re eligible to vote early.

(And then zero follow up questions).

Is there a hole in Labors budget, or are they just happy to see you? Will it not be easy under Albanese, in contrast to the high flying fast living of the past few years? Will bulldozing kids improve Scomos popularity among the children hating millennials?

All this, and more, in the special election edition of the Quinz Rogue Podcast, broadcast live from parliament nightclub in Utica. Gotta fire that agent.

Yeah we copped that last time. They were fully aware of what was happening and just ticking off their mandatory question. Unfortunately this time I need to go to South Lake to vote. Risking life and limb for democracy

Did the early vote thing several years ago before heading overseas. I'm a fan.

But haven't done it since because the democracy sausage means too much to me.
It is usually somewhere in the range between underwhelming and disappointing, much like the choice of candidates it represents, but just like the primary school I vote at it's the principal that matters.
Plus there's usually a cake stall as well and me likey sugar.

Gonna go get my democracy sausage tomorrow and laugh at the people queuing up like cave people.

So you're going back to the place you already went to to vote to get a sausage that you could've got in the one trip tomorrow?

You're not sounding like your free time is short enough to warrant avoiding the line.

No, I voted in the city while at work, I’m gonna go get a sausage at the local primary school, probably while taking the dog for a walk.

You're not sounding like your free time is short enough to warrant avoiding the line.

That part is true.

Man it’s ******* freezing in Melbourne already and its only May. ‘Feels like’ reading of 9° at 11am. One good thing about lockdown was that you could just stay in your kmart pyjamas and uggboots and never have to leave the house all day. Fold

Gang I'm having my heart slowly put through a meat grinder lately. There are sometimes people who take my positive energy, physical and mental comfort, and ability to remember any advertising jingle from 1991 onwards, and one day decide they don't need it.

This one really hurts though. There were plans, hopes and dreams with this one. But when you get treated in a way you would never treat someone there are no more chances.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go rage against the dying of the light for a few months.
