Bit too jingoistic for my liking. Probably did not really deserve Best Picture at the Oscars, however I do admit Afflect directed and acted well.

One of my favourite Roger Ebert review quotes was when he called Pearl Harbour 'a two hour movies squeezed into three hours about how the Japanese staged a surprise attack on an American love triangle'.

But at least it featured Kate Beckinsale.
