First day back at work after holidays. Straight into an "urgent" site meeting for 2 hours about nothing. So pretty rough.

If I had my way:
1. No meetings called unless there is a genuine problem to be discussed
2. Anyone who has a genuine problem must present a potential solution at the same time
3. Anyone who violates one of these sacred tenets loses the privilege of calling meetings and must find someone else to sponsor it
4. Anyone who sponsors a meeting that breaks #1 or #2 will also lose meeting privileges

I've caught up on what I could after returning from the South West but have missed a large portion. Few upsets amongst it, and some others that we may have got lucky in. Watched the JDM replay last night and thought that might go against him

In this case the genuine problems were perceived only, and communication would have put it to bed. That had taken place Friday in my absence but was deemed insufficient, so multiple hours later walking around confirming the contents of the email were a true reflection of the site and progress and I was back in the car heading to the office to continue clearing my inbox.

I don't think we can cover all those four points in just one meeting.
I think we need to establish a working group to systematically address these as action items spread over a multi-year project.
So lets meet to discuss the personnel and terms of reference required for the working group.

I felt that the JDM fight was never in doubt, Hafez won the first but other than lie on top of Jack for the second round he did sweet **** all after the first. Dunno what the **** DC and the other commentator were crapping on about.
