The lack of patience on rural roads is ****ing hilarious. Was driving douth recently and some campaigner tail gated us and then over took 5 car (including us) while driving on the opposite side of the road. Weirdest part was he pulled into a servo only a 1km down the road. Made no sense unless he was about to shit his pants or something

That's just poor driving, poor manners, everything.

The one that makes my blood boil is when there's 4 or 5 cars stuck behind a caravan, and then an overtaking opportunity arises and the fifth car back thinks it's his turn to go first.

And then can’t get past the entire line of waiting cars because of oncoming traffic so has to throw out the anchors and force their way back in

It absolutely is.
But it's bloody frustrating to be second or third in line where the first person is too scared to overtake, and then the second person is too hesitant to overtake because they're waiting for the first person to make a move. At times like that there's no option but to just go. You have to choose your moment of course, not just blindly speed past everyone in a fit of rage.

My equivalent to this is thinking the song Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie was actually a song by Pink for my entire life up until 18 months ago. 18 and a tad years I was convinced it was a song by Pink

People who won’t pass are just as bad as those who come from 5+ deep to overtake

The worst thing about these kents is not just that they refuse to overtake but they also sit right on the tail of the car in front - so if you’re behind them you have to overtake 2 cars and a caravan without the security of being able to pull into a gap between them if there’s oncoming traffic

If you aren’t going to pass, leave a gap some those behind can play leapfrog. It also makes it obvious you aren’t passing so it takes the guesswork out of it so you don’t waste time waiting
