After putting this list together, I'm really impressed by the depth of this draft. I think there's a lot of talent around this year. Also I originally forgot to put Josh Caddy in , I think he'll probably go higher on the day, but you never know.

Good effort. GC are going to be hard to pick.

Personally I’m not sure that GC will take so many KPP early. Day, Darling, Lynch, McCarthy and May as a zone selection is pretty top heavy. I'd say they'll take Gorringe at 5 as he's a super prospect as a Ruck or KPF then McCarthy at P13 or so with running players filling the rest of the spots.

I guess all of the above is predicated on my wish for Melbourne to go tall and I'm starting to get cold feet on Cook.

I'd be amazed if Smith lasts past pick 10, let alone to pick 20. I am hoping we take him at 8, he is by far and away exactly what we need.

No way in hell Smith will slide to 20. Will be taken between pick 4 and 10 IMO.
Yet again everyone has WC taking Gaff at 4, not totally opposed to this but IMO there are much better options. Assuming Bennell or Day won't slide, ATM I really want #1: Polec #2: Smith #3: Heppell #4: Atley #5: Gaff. Really want Polec or Smith, preferably Polec, WC need a fast, skilful wingman, Polec is exactly that.

Smith won't go to Freo firsty he will most likely go earlier and secondly if available Freo's first priority isn't necessarily to replace Mundy it would be more to go tall either a KP defender or forward or a ruckman.

No way Will Freo go for anything but a Ruckman. We struggled enough during Sandiland's form slip or the round we rested him. Bradley and Clarke are not good enough as a back up. If we were promised 1 whole year where Sandilands would not get injured, or rested, or for his form to slip, I would let that go, but we can't do that

yep, they might have to make that big call, and especially when you consider they could quite possible get the best ruckman with their pick as other teams above them will be targeting midfielders and KPP. The lions need a ruckman back in 2006 when they picked Leuenberger ahead of Selwood... Just hope you guys don't make the same mistake, but then again the Lions use pick 4

Yeah, from what I understand Atley has issues with his kicking... The lions will take Heppel or Gaff

Interesting how most phantom drafts have Green coming to us with our 2nd pick...I hope they are right

The Lions needs to bring in as many quality mids as they can. Green also seems like a Vossy type of player. I wouldn't rule out The Lions taking Caddy at 5 either to be honest.

You've got us taking Yarran at 55, which is fine. BUT, you've got Butcher, Mullet and Litherland all still available at 55 and IMO I doubt we'd go for Yarran in front of any of those 3.
