Notwithstanding Snoop Dog's excellent review, I note that the Herald-Sun reported that Ball only spent 65% of the time on the ground. I would have thought that this was extremely low for a player so important as he. This could mean (a) that his hammy was indeed troubling him, and if this is so then (b) another week might see him in better form. Also overheard a Saints semi-official on 774 declare absolutely that Gardiner and Blake would definitely not play next week, presumably significant injuries.

first i've heard of blake. if you go to the official afl site and you look at the picture, blake's there standing up. so i guess it must be something they've discovered afterward, because he doesn't look too bad there.
