I cant see us getting anyone else of note willing to come over.
Why do we need a Geelong player to come here?

We can not just accept slops that will only result in us having more mackay, martin, vb and wright type players on ouir list.

If Danger really was building a house near Moggs do you think it's kind of arrogant of him to just presume he can go to his club of choice? I mean there are other scenarios that could transpire.
Especially when he's only given 7 years not 8 as is the agreement. We bend over backwards to accommodate and apparently shat on for the effort. Or he stays and Alls good. Will be interesting.
So how long before he must give an answer? Or will he hold out for the last minute to make it difficult to organize a trade. Another campaigner act.

Bock, Davis and Tippett all riddled with injuries after leaving (Gunston the exception).

Wonder if the curse will continue with Danger.

Leave Adelaide at your peril!

We also had the delisting curse Eccles, Gallagher, Collins, Williams, Picioane & Rintoul just to name a few.

Hes gone, too many things adding up now and pretty angry he kept going with the "i haven't thought about it" line all season which is complete rubbish, however....he has served the AFC well, could of been a AFC legend if he remained a one club player but goodbye adios, out the door you go.

It is in theory. However, the AFL has an out-clause and can use it's discretion as well. That's what saw them give Melbourne pick 3 for Frawley as a backdoor priority pick. Unlikely to happen, but I see no reason to not just give us pick 3 or whatever it is after the Carlton/Brisbane (who particularly need it) picks.
Not going to happen. If the Hawks can only get pick 19 for Buddy, we're not going to be gifted pick 3 for Danger. Imagine the outcry. People are confusing the compensation that applied to the new franchises where Geelong got a mid first round and an end of first round for Ablett.

He'll go as a free agent if we accept a pick after our first rounder, or we'll match and it'll have to be a trade - that's it.

I think both clubs and the AFL already know how it's going to play out.

October 9th, first day of the FA offer period. Danger is making a "statement" that players shouldn't be forced into making their minds up before they absolutely have to.
