My point is he will not be an integral part of a successful Crows team. I've lost faith in his ability to improve as he's given me no reason to feel otherwise. He's had long enough, he's 26, nothing has changed.
And that is your right. Just as it is my right to say I've lost faith in Dangerfield staying, even if I did say it in a not so flattering way.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It is my strong opinion that Danger is gone. It will be interesting to see if he is going through the motions in 2015 or ironically produces and effort that makes us a finals team which throws the Cats amongst the Pigeons Crows.

Did he look like he was going through the motions last night. The guy put his balls on the line
The Crows provided the Dangerfield family 40 tickets to last nights game. It was interesting to see them all decked out in Crows gear.

I hope they like BLK then. Could be decisive in getting his signature haha!

"These BLK hoodies are sweet Uncle Patty, stay with the Crows I reckon."

(A small, but positive sign none the less).

I don't expect anyone to bag him. I don't expect anyone to subscribe to my newsletter or follow my cult. I will post my opinion and if anyone agrees with that, fine. If they don't and they wish to disagree fine as well.

However, if anyone abuses me - I will not be so forgiving and will defend my opinion.

I am starting to hate the sight of him now and unless you tell me otherwise, I'm allowed to post my opinion.
You hate the sight of Dangerfield because you think he's 96.33334% (or whatever you said) gone?

Interested to know what has swayed you, as I know you've previously thought he'd wait to see how we're travelling before he decides.

Last night's game means less than nothing, so let me just put that out there first.

Having said that, I'm not sure I liked the way Podsiadly and Dangerfield hung around on-field after the game socializing with the Geelong players. Yeah sure, they have a lot of mates there, but it almost had an air of "we can't beat you, so let's laugh about how much better you guys are than us."

If you wanna have a laugh with your Geelong buddies, fine... Do it on your own time.

It wasn't just those two either. There were a few players that looked a little too happy to be having yet another loss against Geelong.

In the scheme of things, this is a minor trangression and as I said, it was in a game that means less than nothing - but it is an insight into the cultural meme that has permeated our club. This ******* near enough is good enough bullshit that has plagued us for nearly two decades.

It was all a bit weird I gotta say. It was a very social match. With only 8000 people there it felt like a game of country football.

The coaches are deadset taking the piss in this NAB challenge.

And sometimes having a mental illness also makes you more susceptible to drug issues etc and vice versa.
Yep, no doubt that is true. But that extends to all or any anti-social act being related to some form of mental illness/incapacity and therefore excusable in part. We've all been around mental illness, so the shock and horror routine when someone mentions it gets a bit tiresome. My drug addicted sister committed suicide and my brother is struggling hugely with depression following his posting in Iraq. And that's just the start of it. This shit is real, but to take such offense to the original post is way over the top. Or maybe I just haven't been schooled in how to appropriately react.

Semantics... Tell me, what role does he play - decoy?
A decoy that kicks 40 goals? I mean there are people on here who suggest 50 goals is rolled gold so over 40 must be something.

I can't remember another 198cm player capable of making Centre Square breaks and kick 60m goals on the run.

And yet every year Mackay is going to re-breakout, but so many posters stick with him. Jenkins is still new to the game and definitely learning 2 crafts being power fwd and ruck. If he's not worth persisting with then you have probably ruled a line through about half our list.
