Just started to listen to the replay of roo and dits from this morning.... roo definitely seems cocky.

Dits asked him how hard it was to sit there and say nothing when he knows exactly whats going on, and he cracks up.

Dits says hes giving us nothing and roo says ''Im giving you nice clues here and there. I basically told you when sloaney re-signed and you were too slow to pick it up. Just keep reading between the lines.''

Really getting my hopes up now.

Yeah, After listening too Roo on that link, I find it hard to believe he isn't going to sign.

I didn't really get the same feeling you got from Roo's responses, but that may be because I don't often listen to him, so I don't know how he usually is.
To be fair he tones it down toward the end of the show... even mentions that he doesnt know, and only hopes that he stays. Thats a bit deflating.

I just think he was way to jovial about it at the start to not know something positive.

Just sign already, Danger!

I want to go an egg Jay Clark's house.
Please don't waste those poor eggs. Who knows what Clark will do with the gooey stuff. He'll probably take it as an omen that a Crow dropped the egg on his house which means Dangerfield has definitely left the roost.

I think the more telling thing is Connors saying he expects an indication from Danger this week. There's no way he'd put the heat on his client to need to tell the AFC he's out at this stage of the season with a comment like that.

For what it's worth all the indications at the moment from the AFL industry is he's staying. I know this from my work with ESP and the AFLPA.

It's looks like I was very wrong or Dangerfield is a humble individual prepared to cop what ever flak comes his way by being honest with us.

To maintain my pride, does anyone think that if he signs, he'll sign for more than two years?

This reminds me of the time when I was in year eleven and was kinda going out with the hottest girl in my class and I knew I was punching above my weight and then she and her girlfriends started hanging around the football captain and he's in year 12 and he's good looking and he's won a few "premierships" in recent times and then you hear that her parents are going away for the weekend and she will be home alone and you don't know whether to laugh or cry or thump someone. You know that something AMAZING is going to happen but you just don't know if you will be involved in it. *

This is exactly how I feel about Patty (no, I don't mean I want to spend the weekend in bed with him, he's got a game to win). I was resigned to the fact that he was going, I had almost convinced myself he wasn't that hot (until the last two magnificent matches) and I now know I will be a quivering mess if he leaves. It will be a long week (or two or three or four or.....).

Great post this, agree entirely. As you said, he's made it clear he could make his decision today. Media will be demanding answers, the club. If he's off to Geelong it'll be straight bat, still unclear etc.

Good signs.
