Roo's article has galvanized Vic Media's thoughts that Danger is gone. It was an odd time to release it, in hindsight.
If he thinks Danger will stay, why would he care what Vic media thinks? I don't think it would bother him one bit how an article might be perceived if he knows what the end result will be.

Oh, I know that, but it certainly raises three or four eyebrows. We Crow Saussies can see that it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but Power Saussies and Vics will see it as another Crow whinge resigned to losing another star player.

If we lose Danger, what is our ultimate midfield in five years?

Could it be Crouch, Crouch, CEY, Cameron, Knight and Grigg?

Depends if he does leave and Adelaide play it hard and match the offer to where ever he wannts to go, forcing a trade. Then do we get Aish or Motlop and a pick, all comes down to how well they can trade!

The thing is, if he stays he gets both. If he leaves, his afc "family" becomes the enemy.
Personally, as a Crows fan, I wouldn't regard him as that if he left if it was genuinely a go-home thing back to Geelong. It's certainly a vastly different situation to, say, Kurt Tippett who "went home" to the highest bidder. If Tippett had gone home to Qld to a club that had negotiated in good faith on the trade then I wouldn't have had an issue with him, either. But as far as Danger goes, he has given - and continues to give - absolutely everything he's got to this club in the time he's been here. He's certainly not playing like a man who is just serving out his time until he can leave at the end of the year. If he does go, I certainly hope the Crows match the Geelong offer in order to force a decent trade out of them but, as much as it would hurt to lose him, I wouldn't hold a grudge against him. He has been absolutely magnificent for this club.

As this most likely will drag on, who is next to sign?

I'm hoping all the attention doesn't side track us losing any of the younger players

What kids so we need to sign ASAP
