The thing is, if he stays he gets both. If he leaves, his afc "family" becomes the enemy.
Personally, as a Crows fan, I wouldn't regard him as that if he left if it was genuinely a go-home thing back to Geelong. It's certainly a vastly different situation to, say, Kurt Tippett who "went home" to the highest bidder. If Tippett had gone home to Qld to a club that had negotiated in good faith on the trade then I wouldn't have had an issue with him, either. But as far as Danger goes, he has given - and continues to give - absolutely everything he's got to this club in the time he's been here. He's certainly not playing like a man who is just serving out his time until he can leave at the end of the year. If he does go, I certainly hope the Crows match the Geelong offer in order to force a decent trade out of them but, as much as it would hurt to lose him, I wouldn't hold a grudge against him. He has been absolutely magnificent for this club.
