NS are no chance if they play anything like they have in the past 2 weeks. They will be hoping Newell and Schepis play 1s

I see the Saints won by 20 and Newell played, and booted 6.

Good to see Daniel Gray show his true worth with 8.

Did you see the game?

Yeh the delivery to Dan gray was good. Good win for NS. Game could of gone either way neck and neck throut the day. Schepis and O'brien played well in the 1s. NS proving they can stir up some shit with the top 5. Only team to beat Jacana this season as well.

See Klix from APW is named on the HFF for the Jets this weekend. Could swing the game in TL favour and get them in the 5. Schepis, Newell and Vitacca all played seniors last week and got in the best/ kicked goals. Will give NS a sniff if they are not in.

Any tips ???

airport west vs taylors lakes, great game, taylors lakes just undermanned down back and their forwards played average didnt help
airport west won the game in the middle, their ruckman wouldnt have lost more than 5-10 tap outs for the match, and their on ballers finally klicked
feild, mcveigh, roci and penaluna were the best for them..
longo didnt do much

yeh 4 weeks is very harsh.

NS vs WM: NS should be too strong at home. If they play like they did last week should be in for a big win by 15 odd goals.

SYD vs TUL: Doubt a replay of last season will happen. Tulla should win comfortably by 15 goals.

JAC vs APW: Jacana a fair side at home but will be found out this week by a running side. APW by 8 goals.

KP vs MV: MV to bounce back and demolish the devils. MV by 25 goals.

TL vs ROXY: TL to be a better side at home and win by 10 goals. Although no walkover for TL.

ROYS vs PV: PV by a lazy 30 goals.

HADDY WALKOVER

NS vs WM: NS will be working on their percentage, with a slim hope for the 5 still alive. 10 goals +

SYD vs TUL: Tulla should win comfortably by 10 goals despite a massive injury list.

JAC vs APW: Jacana will be hoping to prove that they are a finals 5 contender. Will their physical game and feral supporters be enough...I don't think so. APW by 5 goals.

KP vs MV: MV to kick a bigg un. Newell to go for 15 goals and the Valley to 40goals.

TL vs ROXY: Roxy keen to get a big scalp but TL too much class and will be heading for the goalsquare at the end of the game. TL by 8 goals.

ROYS vs PV: PV by a 20+. Ho Hum........

The next two weeks will start to sort everyone out. Tulla vs APW, NS vs TL and PV vs Roxy this week followed by APW vMV, TL v PV and Haddy V Jacana the week after. Only hope all teams have close to a full side so we can get a real idea. Thought I might hgave a guess at the final ladder,

Haddy
APW
MV
Jacs
Tulla
PV
TL
Roxy

PV and TL could easily finish in 5 and Tulla or Jacs could drop out depending on some results. I think the top 3 are set looking at the draw but MV fall away quickly if their players are in the seniors. You would think the club would realise the seniors are no good and make sure the 18s make it.

Have another look in two weeks and see how we're going.

Jacana has 5 challenging games in a row after east keilor bye.. should see them finish 10-6 ish before the last game with NS.
That could be an interesting one. If NS beats Taylors this week then go on to prevail in wins at home in the next 5 weeks, then it could come down to a last game result.

I think Pascoe Vale can down the Magpies by 5 goals at home.
If Tulla puts the regular outfit on the field against APW, then they will struggle. Hard to see them beating APW in form.

With the bottom 5 sides being absolute shit, you'd need 11-12 wins to be finals contenders.

I dislike this league being so predictable with who will beat who. Hoping for some big upsets in the nearing weeks to spice things up.

What teams have players represented in Thursdays Rep game? And who?

In answer to my own question, was just looking at the edfl website.
Sinnott and ramsey from tulla, mullin from westmeadows and newell from mv. and from those four newell is really the only one that actually plays 18's.

i would just like to put out there how much of a hack bevan newell was in thursdays rep game! players from the wrfl started getting into him with some pushing and shoving and he turned to water and didnt like it and left the ground. he kicked 1 goal and that was just about his only kick for the match to go along with a few clangers. just goes to show ya how terrible he is against better players.

Newell was a bit quite, he was playing at centre half forward and cause the midfielders were dominating it was to easy for them to run it up, it was always going to make it hard. Those players playing on him at centre half back were terrible, i dont think it was due to them that he played poorly. when he was moved into the ruck in the second half he actually played pretty well though.

Ramsay dominated, kicked 5 i think from the pocket. can see why he gets a consistent game with the seniors, sinnot was ok spent a lot of time on the bench. Mullin was also pretty good from the other pocket

Newell was a bit quiet but in a flogging like that the ball will always go straight over the CHF head, besides Newell is more a FF than CHF. Not his best game but I wouldn't be too hard on him.

Early round 9 tips:

NS vs TL: Both seasons will be shaped by this game. A must win if these teams are to stay in touch. Should be a rippa. I'd have to say NS by a goal at home.

TULL vs APW: Tulla having blokes missing will be critical to the result. APW in flying form and will win by 8 goals to cement a finals birth.

HAD vs KP: Hah.. Hadfield dominated KP in a practice match this year. The result will be very simular. Hadfield by 30+ goals and this will move them comfortably to 9-0.

SYD vs MV: Sharks aren't horrid but will fail in this one. Valley should down them by 15 goals.

ROXY vs PV: Another cracker which will shape both seasons. If this was up at Lakeside reserve id back Roxy, but PV should prevail at home... Just. If M.Belal fires, expect a close one, but ill say PV by 4 goals.

WM vs GLEN: WM with a handful of good players should be able to continue the lossing streak for the Roys. WM by 8 goals at home.

JAC (bye - and have another one in about 5 weeks. Will help their thrust for the final 5.)
