Wallace to run a muck across the 1/2 forward, and if Matt Nicol can put in another preformance together as he did against APW, I think there is alot of other players which can put in a full effort , i think they will get across the line, I just think Gillis across the back line will be strong, I think will be good but I feel, he doesn't have enough support in the back line, I think the Coach will be racking his brains to put it together, I think Bonato really needs to lift this Saturday as he has been riding on the tail of his team pretty much all season and he can play some good football if it fall right for him, and gillis will need hi him to lift to get results. Abbs is good as long as if he can leave his bullshit attitude and home and come to play football rather than razzing the oppersition players, going to be an interesting Game, My gut feeling it can go either way and finals football is a different game cheers
 
Wet ground under foot will suit haddys bigger bodies.
For once haddy will go in as under dogs, surely this helps their cause.

Tulla seem the better side for playing a constantly disiplined setup in their matchplay. chipping around and finding space on the wings. Could well be the difference if haddys chasing ass.
Tulla to win the ruck all day.

In saying that, the variety hadfield produce could be the difference in what is an all or nothing game.

Hard to go past Sinnot for BOG, he might as well just kick 5, win it for tulla and be done with it.

If the recently crowned leauge best rips out a match winning performence ill be very surprised.
 
hadfield 2010 under 18 premiers, winnning by 16 points
well fought out game with it only being 3 points at 3/4 time.
but then haddy kicked away with class and got out to 28 before tulla snagging 2 late ones.

Matt Nicol BOG on the day, against Tulla, I personnelly did not think haddy would have won, but great effort on behalf of the whole team, they kept a steady head when it counted good stuff, 1st flag ever for the 18's in haddies history I do believe,, ;)

Overall a very good, hard, game of football played in good spirits. All credit to Haddy for finishing the game off, they deserved the win, but Tulla were by no means discraced and fought it out to the end. Congrats to both clubs.
 
Hadfield were the more disciplined side on the day! Tulla tested them from the get go, with insults and elbows. But the Hadfield boys kept their cool and the rest is history. Congratulations Hadfield 2010 Under 18 Premiers. :thumbsu:
 
yer i have heard they have picked up a few players, will be good to see if they can turn around a year like last year to making the finals ! hadfield should be strong again, moonee valley airport west and pascoe vale, whats the news on west coburg and tullamarine? heard tulla will not be as strong as last year

I think a lot of their good players went up to seniors and a couple of their good 3rd year players have been poached by the big Green & Black monster up the road.

I can confirm this to be true, they will still be competitive this year atleast

Also, can anyone explain what's been going on at Moonee Valley? I've been told that many 18's have left, can anyone confirm this?
 
i have heard that marcus consididne has left to aberfeldie, and alot of their better older players have gone up to seniors or movied on to a different club !! anyone know how west coburg or pascoe vale are looking?
 
:eek::eek:everyone be ready for a big year from the improved m. Lane from glenroy, this years captain, is a leader on and off the field, and has put in a hard pre season, dispite suffering a knee injury early on, he is back and ready to fire.. if his not playing 18s he will be dominating in the B grade seniors along side blokes in the midfield pitts and t. Julic

i have heard that too, a few big trades just recently, with benny coote gone to glenroy, thats a huge loss for mv, as he was the key forward and knocked back playing senior footy on a numerous occasions, he was set to captain coach at mv this year but got a better offer from the glenroy boys, he will be missed if you support the MV boys.

Rumour has it he is at the shortest odds to win leading goal kicker of edfl B Grade , bagging 8 in the recent practice match on Sayers, in only a 3 thirds match.

Apparently there was a fight in the Glenroy Westy game and it got called off?
Tulla missing a few players beat N. Footscray, although it wasn't a formal practice match, only 3, 15 minute quarters

Really good news if true, considering they barely had a side last year. Are there any more sides still struggling for numbers? Tulla has 24+, Keilor Park have a full side as with Jacana, competition is going to be real close this year :thumbsu:
 
pascoe vale running over the top of sunbury by 4 goals, sunbury displayed 28 players which gave them fresh legs off the bench, pascoe vale had 2 on the bench were 8 goals up at 3 qtr time and still 6 players to walk back into the side ! and cannot see keilor park making it into the top 5
 
Gee that Melton South mob are dirty, they are a very strong and good side but I don't see the need to throw punches everytime the opposition gets the ball. There was an instance in the practice game against Tulla where 2 players were sent off simultaneously, and a short while later another one was sent off. They blew Tulla away in the first half, but the second half was very even, the two were barely seperated. They are a dirty mob though melton
