What a weekend of footy !!! The heavy conditions would have suited Jacana and Haddy again showed their weak spot is their discipline but on a dry day I reckon Jacs would be 4 or 5 goals away from them. But you have to give it to them , they got the points and have just about booked themselves a spot in the finals. PV over TL is a massive result. TL face an in form Jacana at their mud pit and a win to Jacs will just about finish it for TL this year and get Jacs their finals spot. PV and Tulla is the same with PV needing a win to keep their finals hope alive and Tulla needing to get the one step closer to a finals berth. The big game this week and one that many have as the GF preview is MV v Haddy down at MV. The home side will see this as a chance to stake their claim as the best side in the grade and no doubt remember the flogging they got down there last year from Haddy. Only question is how many players will they have in the seniors as that seems to have a major impact on their form.

Ballmagnet is right what a cracking couple of weeks coming up with all teams in contention playing each other

Another influential round of footy coming up lads.

APW vs SHARKS: yeh would have to say APW quiet easily at home. in the vercinity of 15 goals.

JAC vs TL: a loss to taylors would see there finals hope slip away. however the win for jacana will give them a sniff at a double chance. never thought id be saying that. jacana have beaten tulla and mv at home and youd think theyl edge over the lakes as well. i reckon it will be a very close one. jacana by 2 goals.

PV vs TULL: another season definer. PV will need to gather some % if they are to grab the lower finals spots. this games at tulla so i think id say tulla in a very close one. Tulla by under a goal in a high scoring affair. Tulls can well snatch 2nd spot as well if mv loose by a bit.

MV vs HAD: here we are, the two favorites go at it this weekend. the looser wont be too phased as theyll both be there deep into finals. even though its down at ormond park ( shithole ) youd expect haddy to bounce back hard after a shock loss. haddy by 4 goals.

GLEN vs NS: NS, another team in dire need for % if they want a crack at the top 5. Safe to say NS will win this by 20 goals.

WM vs KP: westy, not half bad when theyre up and running. will definatly account for and pounce on kp's HORRIBLE footskills. wm by 12 goals.

ROXY: might watch NS for next week? or the jacana game being close to home. who knows. who cares really

PS: if pv and tl win.. the finals race will be almost impossible to call
 
MV to good for haddy. level at 3qtr time and moonee kicked 7 goals to 0 in the last quarter.

Jacs have always struggled with discipline. Surprised with TL but.

looked to me that taylors lakes started it but it just got out of control i reckon both were as bad as each other except Jacanas guys knew how to connect punches while taylors lakes guys seem to have meet their match
Also i believe TL have footage am i right in saying your not allowed to film under age footy with out permission i could be wrong

Jacana - 1. Striking 2. Abusive language towards umpire 3.Misconduct - Guilty of all charges - 6 games

If that's all there is then it sounds like there are a few lucky boys out there. What a joke when the Tulla player gets 4 weeks for abusive language and this guy only gets 6 in total.

ROXY NS GAME: yeh roxy won the toss and decided to go against the wind. after a shallow 4 goal quarter with the wind by NS, ROXY thought it would be a replay of last time... NS put on a 4 goal to 3 against the wind which set up a huge 3rd quarter.
NS kicked 6 unanswered and took a 10 goal lead into the final change.
ROXY came out firing with belal kicking his 7th odd goal to put ROXY 3 goals in it. NS kicked a steadier into the wind and the game was held onto from their. Shit day
 
Haddy's third loss on the trot, maybe not invincible after all. Wouldn't write them off yet with two good players still suspended but a few interesting team selections last week, maybe they under estimated Tulla and paid the price. Their seniors look like making the finals now so they wont get Soncin or Stevie G back. They would want to make sure they get the double chance to buy themselves some time and maybe get those two back. Have they got the fire power to beat MV who are now seem to be rotating their players through the seniors. Expect them all to be back for the last couple of games before the finals. Tulla are up and down so who knows with them and APW are going along just nicely and have a reasonable draw. The smokey in the finals will be PV. Really hitting their straps now and posting some good wins with this weeks game against Jacana another test but Jacana will dissapear now that they are on notice and cannot beat up the opposition. TL and Tulla is massive this week with a loss to TL ending their year.What a cracker with Hadfield and APW with a loss possibly sending Haddy to fourth and stitching up the Minor premiership for MV.

With 8 points between 2nd and 9th the equation for most is simple - keep winning and you'll make the five.

couldnt of said it any better myself, haddy underestimating tulla and playing alot of first years from c grade. maybe they arnt ready and the coach has no idea? between dominating in c grade and dominating in b grade is completely different. haddy really need to get all there players from suspension back and remould and the coach needs to keep one group together so they can bond and gel or you could see haddy loose again this week and seriously possibly drop down alot further than to 4th. tulla are very up and down and mv seem to be going strong. jacana slowly falling away and apw travelling very smoothly as mentioned. pv puttin it into top gear and flying smashing tulla last week to keep finals alive and with a massive game this week they should get over the line.

Maybe Haddy are a bit smarter than we give them credit for. Couple out suspended so you might as well find out who can play now rather than at the end of the year when it really matters. I am sure that they are not happy with a loss but they have plenty of time to secure a top two spot.
