So are the "housewives" real people, or is it a fictional series?
the only good one out there is the Amazing Race
About as real as any other "reality" show I imagine. But is it actors following a script, or actual people (following a script)? If you had to bet your own money, how real would you bet it is?
Survivor.
34 seasons and still going strong. Best game/reality TV show of all time.
Not really. US Survivor is about strategy, game theory and psychology with a sprinkling of personal animosity between the contestants thrown in to heighten the drama (as every US reality show incorporates). It's both a mental and physical challenge and due to the different personalities and game-styles employed by each new cast the series never really gets old (the last 6 or 7 seasons in particular have been of extremely high quality).Survivor is just as bad... its outdoors big brother masquerading as a game show. It's all about people and people interacting with other people under the guise of challenges, competition, and survival situations.
Real Housewives of Bigfooty
Even that has run its race though.
Dude, not having the quote first made me think you were talking about a Real Housewives showwatched the first episode of the new season and its not bad, they have mixed it up a bit with singles being appointed a partner they have never met. Might keep me interested for another season.
Me too. That format sounded like it would work for the housewives too.Dude, not having the quote first made me think you were talking about a Real Housewives show
oops, sorry bout that!Dude, not having the quote first made me think you were talking about a Real Housewives show
Pretty much a perfect summation. As near as I can guess, they basically find seven or eight absolute sluzzers who've barely worked a day in their life, and for no reason at all they line them up to socialise on a semi-regular basis with a bunch of like-minded tarts, with literally no aim or pay-off other than to have these bitches bitch about one another.
Whilst I don't disagree with your description at the very least ntm is a competition with a point. Real hw has literally no point. None.I thought this was the worst show (series of shows, really) on TV until I inadvertently left on whichever channel screens 'Australia's Next Top Model'. A bunch of barely developed girls talking utter, utter s**t then crying. Give me reruns of Seinfield for the 25th year in a row any day.
