Benzema allows(ed) Ronaldo to flourish, his movement off the ball was what made Ronaldo so lethal.
I reckon more athletic Wingers/CFs like Sanchez, Hazard and Salah for example would be a massive upgrade and can still allow Ronaldo the fluidity to go from the wing to central positions.

We don't need farmers on our wings. We have the cattle to keep winning, just not happening so far this season. We could turn it around. Bayol is still good and well rested.

CR7, Bale, Benzema, Modric, Ramos & co just aren't up to it any longer. RM need a huge clearly at seasons end. Problem is so do Barca over the next couple of years so will be interesting to see what happens in the transfer market.
Doesnt bode well for us that both clubs need a clean out. Barca will come again for Coutinho and you can bet both are now interested in Salah too.

Didn't Coutinho want to leave ?

It will be like the CR7 thing when he played for ManU, they just kept tapping him up every year.

Shouldn't be allowed to do it while they are in contract

Not like the place is in shambles, they’ve won B2B CL titles, a La Liga title last year and are in the last 16 of this years CL even though the La Liga title is gone I wouldn’t say there’s a hell of a lot wrong at Madrid.

We all know they’ll soon go and get the best talent available anyway.

Lose to PSG and that's curtains for Zidane. They'll probably come after Pochetino and Klopp

When you have as much money to throw around as Real Madrid, there is no such thing as a crisis.

Wait till seasons end, open the cheque book, problem solved. Not like they have to start again, go through the draft, nurture young talent and wait 5 years to rise again

They’ll go hard for DDG but he is smart enough to see the ship is sinking.
Yep, United have kept him long enough for Real Madrid to decline and for Ronaldo to stop being a big draw for players to want to play him. Brilliant by the club to not give into a big transfer fee.
