Really, where did you hear this?
What is he 27 now
Some stats http://superstats.heraldsun.com.au/profile/210014.html
Hardly worth picking up IMO due to his poor disposal efficiency, we have enough guys who need to improve their disposal so why recruit another senior player with poor efficiency?
Will be p#@sd off if we get him....
Make that 2 of us who will be pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh cmon, he'll make the VFL side that much better.
Daniel Harris would need massive injuries at Collingwood to play more then 5 games, no room for him in our young developing midfield.
We had a shot at him last year though, so might be merit in the story.
Ooh, thanks NT, a site with disposal efficiency. What is the generic url for that site so can look at other players?
Barham's kicking Efficiency is better than his, faaaarrrk.

Nah got a mate involved at North Melbourne. Common knowledge he is leaving North just depends on price. We want to give a Corrie like draft pick they want a third rounder. Thats the only hold up will be interesting to see what transpires
Prefer to get clay beams if he's still available with our third round. Harris
is finished.

Is this Beams brother playing in the QAFL?
I've been looking at the match reports and have seen a Beams named in the best more often then not up in Queensland and have wondered if Dayne's bro.
What type of player is he and age? Mature body or not?
He sure does:yep it's dayne's brother. and i kid you not he also has a full sleeve tattoo

I think Fev would be a good option for us but
a) I really can't see Calton parting with him with the intentions that they are challenging for a premiership in the next couple of years, judging by their agressive recruiting and
b) if Fev does get traded from Carlton, i would expect him to go west, maybe in a deal to secure Tarrant/Kennedy.
I hate Fev but i can't knock his ability to kick goals. If we were to take him i would hope that a strict attitude adjustment would be put in place as we have a young list and i would hate for him to mislead or be a bad influence on these guys. Could derail the whole club.
Regarding Nathan Brown, i think he's a great talent judging by 2008 however i'm not sure what really happened this year so i didnt have him as untouchable.
Jack Anthony i would class as untouchable if Cloke regains solid form or we secure the services of another good KPP. If Anthony is going to be getting the No.1/2 defender all year it could be trouble. He does struggle with close attention and needs to work harder. Hopefully that may just be an experience/maturity thing. He does have enormous potential both as a player and as a trade.

WE would have to have some room under the cap.
Speculation surronding Brian Lake:
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...afl-clubs-circle/story-e6frf8w6-1225779720068
Lake had been close to signing a deal with the Western Bulldogs about three weeks ago, but talks have stalled.
Although the All-Australian full-back has an offer of about $1.8 million over four years on the table, he is baulking at the moment as other clubs circle.
It is understood Carlton and Collingwood are taking more than a passing interest in Lake

Although i seriously doubt we will get Lake, this shows that we are at least being proactive and actually making a few moves...
After reading some of the other boards i got the feeling people where being a bit unrealistic with some of the names bandied about, so i thought i'd start a thread asking you thoughts on players "on the table" and what you'd give up for them...............
I'll go first:
Shane Tuck - 4th or 5th round pick
Shaun Burgerring (spelling) - Leon Davis + 2nd round pick
Josh Gibson - Tyson Goldsack + 4th pick
Daniel Kerr - Sharrod Wellingham + 3rd round
Barry Hall - 3rd or 4th pick or Scott Reed
Andrew Lovett - 2nd rd + Tyson Goldsack
Matt MaGuire - 3rd or 4th pick
Brett Peak - 3rd or 4th pick
Steven Salopeck - 3rd pick
Daniel Pearce - 3rd pick
Luke Ball - 2nd rd
