Vossy's philosophy isn't outcome based. It's systems based. The idea being if we achieve the systems and things we want in the background, the results will take care of themselves. I don't think he meant what you think he meant.

H’s job is to play within a system to get the result. If he doesn’t play within the system, then we find someone who can and that wants to get THE RESULT.
The system gives a result, no one cares about the system, only the managers, everyone else ‘the decision makers’ care about the result…
