I can understand your frustration but you must have a plan for us going forward, it can't be just doom and gloom, are you saying that we need a complete rebuild? I just want to know where you're coming from. If it is a rebuild then you will still be watching Foxtel because we would get smashed every week. It's almost like you are unable to Barrack for us anymore

I would say a good starting point, would be to target the best coaches irrespective of price. Stop skimping. Bring in coaches from successful programs and successful clubs. What success has Harvey ever seen?

For me this is Buckley’s final season. Prove to us that your defence first mantra can win a flag. Otherwise move on and get a new coach that will play an attractive style of football. The new coach will ensure that Harvey and Sanderson are also finally moved on.

If Buckley leaving means his sandwich toastie friend in Grundy leaves as well, then so be it.

I will reserve final judgement until the trade period is over. However, from afar it looks like the club is putting a lot of faith in Buckley.

Bit of poetic license there Darky. I think you’ll find Harv’s, Rocco and Tarks we’re at the club during the tenures of Mcrea et al and other than a year as VFL coach for Tarks I don’t believe either he or Pebbles have ever had anything other than support roles. But let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Neither Richmond or Geelong will exceed the FD soft cap this year would be my guess so why do the Pies need to spend above that?

People will hate this but I don’t rate Buckley as a match day coach. I believe he needs help in the box. That is just my opinion.

That’s fair but still not sure why that requires us to exceed the FD tax when other clubs don’t have to.
