I am feeling anti dockery and believe it is time the club moves into an era of optimism an belief. We are set up off field, strong financially, great facilities that are being invested in again. And a strong young list that should see us ready to love the next decade at the club.

Great thread idea, 9.95/10, only one note - You forgot Jordan Clark, one of our rare trade wins, hasn't put a foot wrong since joining and is still very young. Potential AA in the future.

Agree. He should be on the list, I will update it. If he spends the season attacking with dare we will be a lot better. Big trade win and wouldn't be surprised if he is multiple A squad and gets and AA.

Can you not feel the excitement building.. the season is upon us and we have a chance to prove ourselves against one of the best first up. Amiss to kick four, Jackson to kick three and Fyfe to do Fyfe things in the middle just to remind Neale he will always be a level or two above.

The only concern is our shakey starts, but alas, harken, this is the optimism thread and we know this year we will come out of the blocks like lightning. 5 goal first quarter won't be out of the question imo.

We're developing one of the best young spines in the competition and have a very talented crew of skilled midfielders around it.

No team has a Darcy/Jackson equivalent.

Great. In that case, can I add that I have high hopes for NOD and Sharp holding down the wing positions. They both reeeeaaalllly want to succeed, work hard and can gut run all day. Fingers crossed a bit, but I'm backing them in.

I agree with this and think that both being a good size with big tanks should wear on teams. If they can build confidence to go with those attributes we will also see NOD kicking some big goals again.

He's really important isn't he.

If you include picks as well as players traded in we have some topliners including Amiss, Jackson and Johnson.
