Sorry for the intrusion, but I came across to wish you all the best this year.

I believe Freo are really primed to give it a shake this year, particularly if your coach can release the shackles and let your lads take the game on more. Last season he had the team playing too much of a possession style game, when you have the players and runners to play a Collingwood run and gun attacking style of footy.

All the best for 2025 - be nice to see a club who has been there abouts finally win one!

Thanks Steele - it certainly feels like we have all the pieces and potential to have a long window. Good luck for the year!

Cheers. We're well positioned if just the normal things go our way. Upside is there across the board and some small things such as the Roos game can move the needle for us.

But beyond that there are so many individuals to be excited about and enjoy.

Training pics are showing Brayshaw and CS bigger and more defined through the shoulders and arms.

Caleb has always had size but he seems to have added more muscle weight and is far more defined through his arms and quads.

12.5 wins would be a disappointment.

Here are my expectations for the season, and the associated ranking. I have high expectation, but it makes me nervous. (I am now at the top of the triangle.)

B Grade

I am hoping for 14-15 wins, and a top 6 finish.

At least one final win.

C Grade - 13 wins, make finals, but lose first week. I think it is 50/50 if JL would get another contract.

F Grade - Miss finals

FYI - to go above B grade, I would want a top 4 finish or to make a grand final.
- Close loses in the finals probably make it a B+ year.

Chris Sutherland at the season launch.

This morning’s event is not just another routine AFL season launch. This morning stands for much more than that. I think we are as ready as we’ve ever been to chase that cup,”

“For the past few years, every decision that has been made by this entire football club, from the support staff, the administration, coaches and players, has been for this moment.

“Everyone in this room has worked extremely hard, consistently, day in and day out. I’ve seen it right through the summer. From early starts, doing extras, to the late nights, ensuring every player can come into an environment where they feel like they belong.

“I’ve felt in this room how connected this group is. Expectations are high but we lean into it as we strive for the ultimate prize. Like any season there will be ups and downs but the belief and trust from the board downwards in this playing and coaching staff has never been stronger.

“We definitely feel like the foundation is sound and we certainly think we’ve got nearly all the pieces in place. May the season be filled with moments of courage, connection and success.

“I’ve kept this speech very short because I’m actually done with talking. It’s time for action.”

The decade of dominance has begun!

Have you factored in the gravitational pull of Basils nose?
Hopefully we have ran him out of town within 7 years.

I Hope Please GIF

My expertise is I've seen Deep Impact AND Armegeddon and I think the biggest risk to us is a Tsunami from an ocean impact.
With the Kruger Dunning effect, you are basically an expert like me.

According to Google, the Tsunami will be down to 10m after 60km. So it would have to be pretty close still.
