Forgot to mention Richard Doggett - RFC 1980 Premiership General Manager passed away last week.

As well, Col H advised that David Hinchcliffe died 27/9/2020
They found his birth notice in the Geelong Heritage Centre newspaper archive. It is actually 12 Jan 1939, not 12 Jan 1938

Leo Brereton has died sometime before October 15 aged 83. He played 72 games for the Blues between 1957 and 1962, kicking 127 goals. He was the Blues leading goalkicker in 1960, kicking 47 goals.

Not a VFL / AFL player but just read about the sad passing of Ron Best. In the 50 years of watching country footy he was easily the best bush footballer I had the pleasure of watching. No doubt in my mind and in the opinion of better judges than me that Besty would have a VFL star had he had the desire to play at the highest level.

Brereton died 12 October. Kevin O'Brien died 24 Sept. Mick Martyn's uncle. De Bolfo has written nice obits for both.
