Former Fitzroy great Tony Ongarello (131 games) died recently. There are death notices appearing in today's Herald-Sun who are quoting him as dying on July 18. His Wikipedia page however states July 16.
Went to school with his son, funnily enough an Essendon supporter. Tony famous as a trivia question.
And what is the trivia question?
Those Tony De Bolfo articles on Bortolotto and the like are really well done and detailed; a level or two better than you see on most other club sites.

Ex-MFC players Arthur Pound and Bob Carroll shown in the memorial section of the MFC B&F. Not sure on exact dates.
Bob Carroll was apparently Robert Wilfred Carroll (see VFA Project profile) - Ancestry shows someone by this name living in Canterbury/Glen Waverley from 1963-1977 which makes sense.Ex-MFC players Arthur Pound and Bob Carroll shown in the memorial section of the MFC B&F. Not sure on exact dates.

A Robert Wilfred Carroll with DOB 18 Oct 1941 is shown as dying in Florida on 5 October 2021 - suspect this might be him, with some delay in finding out about his death due to him living in the USA
