Gorringe we put the same deal on the table for Gold Coast and would happy with that.... Gold Coast reject it then I don't mind the Angus Bruggemann option maybe has an upside after a preseason with Burgo..... Is actually an option I'm warming too.

Bugger bugger bugger.

Do you go for a known quantity like a Bellchambers, Griffin, Giles, Stanley, Ceglar....or do we look for a Gorringe, Hannath, Fitzpatrick, Griffiths that can grow with the team?
Belchambers and Stanley id prob go for out of that lot only because thay can both play forward, we were into Stanley last year but he was contracted now hes not

Griffin + Gorringe/draftee would cost minimal, fills depth roles and can look to use higher picks on a forward via trade or draft. still confident we could land Durdin so i don't want us to lose that first rounder.

Griffin is pretty durable so you can expect him to be a break in case of emergency ruckman. draftee would be a last resort to use but still would give us 5 ruckmen 4 if renouf goes and an 18 year old to carry on after Lobbe/Redden. that should be the ruck stocks sorted.

Would avoid Bellchambers because he's been pants this year. Griffin, Stanley, Ceglar meh. Hannath Freo would demand Shaw in return, I'd probably go for 2 of Giles, Gorringe & Griffiths even though he's more of a KPD/F.

Like Forza said now that we've lost out on Lycett I'd be looking at getting 2 cheapish KPP options from those listed above whilst laying the foundation to try & convince Cameron that Port would be a good fit for him either this year or next.

Can someone get onto the club about 6'7 welsh weightlifter
Darius Jokarzadeh. He can clean 200kg, but too tall for weightlifting and is considering nfl. Be a good target for ruckman already has build just needs to learn the craft.

Bruggemann is what...193cm and is barely able to compete in the ruck at SANFL level. Would get eaten alive at AFL level.

I was always leaning toward Gorringe anyway... Super athletic and would come a lot cheaper.

I know its against the grain to the group think here, but Waite would be a decent addition. If he got it right for 18 months, who knows what our side would look like.

I proposed the Waite proposition to some mates and made it out of the conversation with a black eye, a broken nose and internal bleeding.

Giles, Gorringe or Stanley are the 3 best options.
Luke Lowden and Jon Griffin are the cheap options (3rd rounder?).
Sam Baulderstone is a good rookie list option who was invited to the draft combine so at least 1 club is interested in him.

He isn't out of contract until the end of 2015 and i highly doubt we'll be trading him with our lack of key forwards, so you're more chance with others rucks around the league.

For some reason Eagles supporters don't like him. I'd have him in the centre circle every day of the week.
Actually I'm a big fan of his and I'd be sorry to see him go. The issue is more we don't know quite how to use him. He's not quite tall enough to play as a KP back - and Brown is filling that role out nicely for us now - and he's coming up against some very stiff competition amongst our HBFs - Hurn, Waters if he gets fit, Yeo, Ellis.

I think that'd be close to a win-win trade. Seems to fit a need for you blokes, and we get a good pick.
