Recurring Nightmares.

Haven't had it for ages but had this dream a few times when younger. I'm in this cave witnessing all these flintstone like cavemen working and chipping away...almost like mining. There is this huge hole in the ground. The cavemen bring out a dinosaur(a sarupod) chop it in half, through it down the hole...but seconds later it reappears on a sort of elevator they pull up and it's back to normal like it had never been split.

Another one I've had a few times but not for almost a year now. I'm basically falling from a massive cliff/building and wake just before I hit the ground. I seem to get that butterfly feeling too.

Some years ago there was one in which I was confronted by a faceless man in every room of the house. No matter how I tried to kill him - chainsaw, gun, knife, whatever, the bastard just would not die. He would stand and point straight at me and come closer, but just as he got close enough to make out his features in detail, I woke up.

i used to dream that i was laying in bed sick, looking up at the roof . Suddenly i would see a knife come out the roof. Then cut a huge hole and put a slide down it. i would then try and hide but i would cough and then a huge guy would grab a knife put it to my throat then i'd wake up.

I have a regular nightmare where one of my teeth feels loose so I jiggle it a bit and it comes out. Then all my teeth start falling out one after another.

A common interpretation of this dream is that you are being dishonest with someone, or something in your life. Something is nagging at your conscience.
Ive looked up on this in the past, because Ive had the exact same dream quite a few times. But cant remember having it in the last 3.5 years.

My personal belief about this one is that is actually a health warning. Look after yourself Russian... Especially your teeth.

Yeah I had that one too...so I stopped stealing. ;)

Another one is on a raft in the ocean with your arms and maybe a leg dangling in the water, and you feel a shark brush past...

Apparently that means someone is going to try and con you out of money or something to that effect.

Havent had the shark one, but in real life have plenty of times felt someing quite solid bump into my legs if Im paddling out.

First time it scared the bejesus outta me, until I looked up at the next wave breaking, and saw literally hundreds and hundreds of jellyfish about to rain down on me.

Was a relief, but they didnt feel nice brushing against your face as u duck dived.

I find it's best not to stare down into the ocean unless its a really clear day, otherwise your mind starts playing tricks with the shadows and all.

BTW Mr Fwoy, I went back and checked that Rage thread and Im not sure how Ive overlooked you. Should still do that thread I reckon. Was mentioned a couple of times, but the Music board is actually a pretty friendly place, apart from the occasional music snobbery... which Ive been guilty of at times.

Sad thing is, I have had the dream and have been ripped off by so-called friends :(

Re: Rage - I started to compile a drafted list, and got as far as E, and it was already 6 pages...will take time. I plan on being unemployed in a month...maybe I'll do it then ;)

Yah always thought it would be a big mission. And worthy of a bit of effort. I reckon it'd take me a week to work it out if I was actually offered a night of programming Rage.

And sounds like your dreams are giving you strong messages to Fwoy;)

Even in your dreams your a gun-obsessed maniac.

During primary school, my family and I lived in a house closeby the school I attended to and when the bell rings I'd wake up as if it was my actual alarm clock lol. Anyway, you know how you're so tired you tell to yourself, "Just five more minutes and I promise I'll wake up." Well yeah, then I'd slooowly get up and get ready for school, then when I open my eyes and find mum shaking me to get up realising the whole thing was just a dream and that I haven;t actually gottenr eady yet. God I hated that!

When I was young, whenever I had the fever (okay I'm getting the goosebumps now) this lady, who ..to think about appeared to be a ghost, would tell me oh so nicely to come with her. Although she was really 'nice' I was always afraid to come with her that I'd cry myself whilst telling her to go away... and it was so freaky how her arms would be wide open to take me. Anyway, what's freakier was when my mum took me to this lady (I'm not sure what she was) but she performed this weird crap on me (which involved smoke and this thing that smelt funny) and ever since the 'while-lady' never appeared again. Ever.

Also whenever I had the fever, it's weird like... during the dream I'd know exactly what was happening and what I was afraid of but when I wake up crying, I could never explain it to my mum... but it was scary as hell. Did anyone else experience a moment when EVERYTHING seemed smaller or further away than it was actual distance and give you this weird feeling... I don't know.

Yeah.. A few have mentioned feeling small, or big, while crook and drowsy. Myself included. Its hard to explain, but sometimes it was like Im just a giant eye filling an entire room.

p.s. Sounds like you were taken to a witch doctor or something there Themazza.

I seem to always get extremely vivid nightmares whenever I go to sleep when I am not actually tired. I never really dream at all when I sleep when I am tired though.

Last night I killed my brother and his best friend and woke up this morning contemplating ways of covering it up. Strange.

* Note: I get along well with my brother and his friends... :D

Ever since I saw 28 weeks later I have the recurring dream of I'm at work and suddenly zombies are coming and so on. In the end I wake up before I get killed.

I used to always have this weird-arse dream where I was at a party/nightclub, and some knob is picking a fight with me and really goading me into punching on with him. All my mates are there, and laughing at me for me for not fighting back, and all i want to do is smack this douche into next week...but i have stumps for hands and can't defend myself at all. No-one else seems to realise this, and my head nearly explodes in frustration. Weird.

Probably indicating some latent insecurities, meh.

probs just means ur a massive pushover in real life

I used to have night mares really bad when i was little (nearly every night) the main ones was me waking up in my dream and the window opening and a hand slowly coming in and i'd get up and slam my window on it, one that i had really frequently was we'd be driving along on the high way and all of a sudden my mum would dissapear and in the dream i couldn't seem to take hold of the wheel i'd just sit there while the car went wherever it wanted
