Who doesn't bag the oppositions players at every opportunity and overlook when they play well?

2 idiots agreeing doesn't make it truth.

Didn't say it was the truth, just pointing out players who make as much errors as Mcphee has in the past would get bagged by any opposing team.

Who doesn't get frustrated when a player has clear possession, drops the ball, turns it over, and results in a late goal to the opposition after a 1st quarter dominance. I love Mcphee, but he is notorious for such acts and is going to get flack rightly or wrongly because of it. Would happen at any club and don't see how you could argue otherwise. Dawson has been a good player for the Saints in there finals campaigns, yet got the same Mcphee treatment for brainfades from Saints fans.

'Nerd', 'Never played the game' that kind of crap which is embarrassing. Disagree with Whately, but don't call into question his professionalism

Firstly, you are a tool.

Secondly, Whatley's opinions on a variety of topics is evidence he really never has understood what a game is like on the field, nor what it is like to run or be involved in a club. Sport isn't nice. Running a club or any business isn't free of nasty politics and harsh realities. Yet, according to Whately we're meant to be fairy god mothers to all and sundry. It's pathetic and embarassing. It's supporters like him that has led to sanitisation of sport in general. And when realities over shadow appearances and image, it's all tears and naughty corners.

Of course in those circumstances you can call into question his professionalism. If someone like Parkin, or Healy called into question Freo for the way we went about recruiting Lyon, you'd listen. Instead, Whately has stood out like dog's balls on a range of topics he clearly has never had the experience of dealing with.

He has also abused his position to push a personal agenda. That really is a fundamental tennent of professionalism.

Thirdly, Whately is a nerd. Who cares? I'm a nerd. Nerds are awesome man. What he is is much worse - a stiff collared square - a weiner.

And without getting personal, his nose is too big to be sticking into Freo's business.
