Wait, quicker than the internal drive? Wow.

Wonder if that would be the case for PS4 too
xbox had a 5400rpm drive, so yeah a decent external usb3 drive is quicker
they don't like you replacing the internal drive, sony don't mind, so usually putting a bigger and faster boot disk in the ps4 is pretty common

Yeah I replaced the internal drive in my PS3, pretty easy but I still can't be ****ed doing it for the PS4 :D

Decent external sounds like the go, launch PS4 drive is 5400rpm too

Yep and I hate rushing games. Also ac odyssey might be my favorite game of the year so far, very good game.

I only just fired it up a couple of days ago. I figure once RDR2 is finished in the distant future, at least there is something to go back to, as well as something to keep us occupied until next week.

I reckon I'll leave ac od until after rdr2. Will be in the bargain bin by then.

Same thoughts. Happened with Origins too, within a few months it was the throw-in game with consoles and ended up in the bargain bin. Seeing how big RDR2 is, might not even get onto Odyssey until next year

I have a Pro so it's 1TB.

Basically anything I hadn't played in a while or wasn't playing again. Can't recall them all but BF1 was huge and GoW was another one.
Do you still have GTA on there?

Can't remember. Although think I got 2m dollars for preordering RDR2.
who did you have to preorder it through to get that? Also, have you done the six shooter/hatchet thing on GTA online yet?

The PS store. Got the ultimate edition.

That’s what I’m doing, will most likely be next year when I play AC Odyssey. Wanted to finish it before RDR2 but I hate rushing games and it looks like one I’ll want to spend a lot of time on.

It's no doubt that when rdr2 comes a.c. odd will not be high on the buy list. Once you get into 30 odd hours of a.c. odd you get the general feel and unless you need to finish everything you play you can move on ok !

I think the thing for me with Odyssey is, that after flogging Origins and finishing it only months ago it will be much the same game, I liked Origins but after playing the whole game and the 2 DLC's i was pretty over it at the end, so I am thinking a break is necessary

Now back to RDR, I am torn about preordering the digital version, I know I can buy it cheaper buying the physical copy on release, but the size of the install has me thinking i wont be able to play it for a day or so (fixed wireless NBN but still going to take a lonnng while)...Preorder I am paying 30 bucks more but I can get the ball rolling at least

I am just looking forward to this game, I have cleared my weekend by doing all the stuff i need to do this weekend gone, now to decide to preorder digital or not

Odyssey is very similar to Origins but it’s still a very good game. I got it at launch just assuming it would carry me into RDR2 but it’s just so big. People are finishing it in about 40 hours but I’m the kind that need to explore every location and complete every side quest so after 55 hours and not even halfway through the story and less than half the map explored there is no way I’m going to finish it before RDR2. I just hope that I’m motivated to come back to it.

I was in the same boat about preordering RDR2. I’m on cable but getting NBN speeds since the rollout in my area but the PS network is still arse and downloads take forever. At least with physical I’ll save a few dollars and will be able to play on the day.

Yeh think I will wait for Friday and just buy the physical

I was the same Origins, explored everywhere, did all side quests and I expect it will be much the same with Odyssey when i get it, another reason not to buy Odyssey was I knew I wouldn't be finished by the time RDR2 rolled around, that's why I went with Tombraider, finished that in about 3 weekends though, continuing an old save of Deus Ex at the moment, still wont finish that by the weekend though and once RDR is here, probably wont touch another game for months
