Have considered buying a Xbox 360 for years. It’s really cheap too.

The bug/glitch on PS3 never got fixed, well for me. Could never get past a mission before it’ll freeze and corrupt the file. Rockstar never went out of their way to fix this, particularly for the slim models

They’ve recently patched 60fps into this.
So it’s 4K 60fps on ps5.
Has anyone played it and is it worth replaying? I’m sick of waiting for a rdr2 60fps patch so was looking at potentially playing this again.

I own RDR on Xbox, both physical and digital. I just find it a total chore to play and dreadfully boring.

I played RDR2 when it first came out and got around 40% through. Trying again now on PC and up to the same point. It's undoubtedly a great game but there's something about it, I can't put my finger on exactly what, but the world just feels less interesting to me than RDR.

RDR was my fav game of all time when I played it first time around, Witcher 3 has probably nudged it out since then, but I once again am finding it a bit of a grind at this 40% level in RDR2. I'll keep going this time and maybe it's just that I'm older now and games are overall less fun, but yeah, does feel a little bland to me. Bland on the scale of RDR2 expectations - still an elite game, just not as elite for me as RDR.

RDR2 is just too slow. Everything is painful. Want to cook food? 5 second animation per piece. Want to skin an animal? 5-10 second animation depending on the animal. Everything in game is like that. Its a chore of a game.

Upgrading the camp is a waste of time since the gang falls apart towards the end of the game then you play as John Marston post game.

If they do release a next gen version hopefully they give you the option to turn of the animation you can do it with the Horizion games.

It looks like Rockstar skipped right over Xbox for the initial 2023 port and went straight to PS4/Switch. So this months re-release is the first time the port is on the current XBOX console, hence the full price for XBOX gamers.

I purchased the Games on Demand/digital version many years ago and I got the free upgrade last week!
