kdav: The Rookies are coming over to sataris now, he's got his head in his hands. He had the ball in the dying seconds and he will think he took too long to have that shot. But we have to remember, it was three consecutive goals from the plucky forward pocket that brought the Rookies back into the game in the first place. Nothing can take away from the performance of the Monstars though. Class, finesse, skill and experience. They dominated early on in that last quarter and just had enough to hold off the fast finishing Rookies. It was a fascinating contest from start to finish. I'll hand over to Phenomenalv1 for his thoughts on that game and then I believe we'll be heading to the presentation of the trophy and the announcement of the Ding Medal for best on ground.

Phenom: Thanks Kdavv. Well, I don't think there's much I can add to that. It was a see-sawing thriller with a heartstopping finish, sataris is going to get a blasting from U2tigers in the clubrooms after that rookie error (haha!). The Monstars experience won them the match, Ant Bear made a huge comeback after getting clobbered all through the first quarter, KohPhi was stellar in his return to the ruck, fitzroybowiedog proved exactly why he's the All SFA and premiership captain, Thatsapaddlin had a last quarter most players would only dream of... it's hard to find where they put a foot wrong.
