Has anybody else had a chance to have a look at this on its limited cinema release? I saw it at Dendy last week and was surprised at how enjoable it was. It's about 3 teenage boys answering a web ad for a 4some. Upon arriving for the promised 4some they are drugged and taken back to the church/compound of the 5 Points. 5 Points are loosely based on the Westborough Baptist Church. An amazing Michael Parks delivers an oscar nomination worthy performance as the preacher, again based Fred Phelps.
Unlike anything that Smith has done before although his humour does creep through occassionally. Released by his own studio that he has set-up so he is going back to his Indie roots to some extent. Only cost about $4 million to make but he has gotten every dollar of value out it.
I'm an unabashed fan of Smith but even if you don't like his previous stuff you shouldn't let that deter from giving this a view, even if it on DVD later on.
