Strange how a curse (or poor management) for close to 30 years can be lifted from sports teams with just a few decisions, I remember reading this article the ABC released back in August and actually having a really good feeling and sense of calm that something had lifted around the SACA.

Also shows that no professional sports team should ever adopt the moniker of the ‘Redback’, also as much as Dizzy had passion & played a huge role in this eventual result it was such a big blessing he left his post and Harris took over as someone more from the modern school of coaching who had got out early enough to not have the same amount of SA cricket baggage.

Were they honestly expecting not to have an invasion?

At the ground, I noticed they started chasing the first few… then just gave up [emoji23]

The guy who stole the stump was body slammed at one of the Northern end gates right next to me. Didn’t realise he had stolen a stump and thought the Secco was being extremely over zealous.

Once on the field I was right next to the gate where they had the big CA back drop. They realised it would be way too hard to clear the crowd so decided to do it upstairs. Other than the horrid acoustics, it actually worked really well up there.

That's ridiculous. It's a ****ing cricket stump, not an ancient relic.
