I know he hasn't done much yet but I reckon our bowlers cop a bit of a bad rap due to the utterly benign nature of the home tracks at Adelaide Oval and Glenelg. Hopefully they actually have some life and bounce in them this season and we see what our bowlers can do.

We didn't take 20 wickets once at home last year. Needs to be a priority - for bowlers/bowling coaches AND the curators.

I watched the live stream of one game from Glenelg and Nathan Coulter-Nile was steaming in with the ocean breeze at his back in the first over of a Shield game... bounced again before it even reached the keeper. And he's a big unit who hits the deck hard and bowls fast. It's just a feather bed.

Not one of the six quicks from either team in that game was able to play the next Shield match. All bowled themselves into the ground and finished up injured.
