Surely Bate would be higher i believe than 19, he was injured this year and still had a game of 4 goals, a 29 possestion game againt hawthorn and a 10 mark game against Essendon. I would have him currently ahead of Williams, Maric and knights.

Dunno about that, Maric has been outstanding in the ruck for us since he came back into the side mid season, really stood up and as for Knights well, when fit, he consistently racks up 30+ possessions and is a line-breaking mid who will give you great drive from contests. Unfortunately he's had his season affected by injury and he always seems to take 3-4 matches to get back to his best. Should probably be higher than 19, but higher than Maric and Knights (havn't seen enough of Williams to comment), not so certain about that.

Daniel Pratt was just nominated to be AA and leads the competition this year for rebounds from 50 and yet Primsall, Slattery, Maric and Monfries ahead of him?

Yes very ignorant of them.

Though Pratt has the added advantage of being 'in the system' a few more years than the others. Regardless, he should be higher.

Roughhead is too high, he's at least behind Travis Cloke and Ryan Griffin, and probably Van Berlo and Lewis.

Griffen is a funny player at the moment, just lacks a little awareness and needs a bigger engine. Great when he has the ball and a little bit of space but really needs to be able to work the ball out of heavy traffic and just find more of it to be considered an elite midfielder.

Next year could be the year he really blossoms, but at the moment I would jhave to put roughead and deledio ahead of him based on consistant good performances.

why do people have a hard on for van berlo??
just because he has got 40 possesions in a game before doesnt make him dominant. Most of those possesions are short chip kicks and chip pass' back to him. This is the crows style of play and just because you get heaps of the ball doesnt make you dominate.

Id argue tambling is a much more damaging (thus) dominate player, especially when he was being played as a creative half back/wingman later in the year.
Tamblings upside compared to Van Berlo's is enourmous.

Suprised the lack of respect McGuane gets. People seem to get a woodie over Tom Williams holding Buddy to 5 goals well McGuane was moved onto Buddy after he kicked 3 against more and held him goaless in the 2nd half.

He had other scalps and was more impressive as the year went on.

He is a versatile backmen who is decievingly strong and a great tackler. I would have him ahead of Hank Slattery and Prismall who I both think are just plodders.

He's barely played......
