Re: 2004 Draft Re-Done

The top 10 is pretty accurate, with the exception of Tambling. The next 10 has a number of issues in my view, but good on you for having a go ;)

Re: 2004 Draft Re-Done

Oh FFS get over Tambling, just because he's not AS GOOD AS BUDDY doesn't mean he isn't a very good player in his own right.

Tambling is developing into an A-grade midfielder, who cares if he's a B-grader right now when Buddy is a champion, Tambling is still currently a B-grader and much better than everyone outside the top 10.

I would not trade Tambling for anyone outside the top 5 of that list and I doubt any Richmond supporter (who has actually seen him play) would pick anyone else from 6-10 over Tambling either with the possible exception of Jordan Lewis (I wouldn't but some would).

Tambling is a very good player, just not equal to possibly the greatest of all time.

aaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaahhahahahah dream on mate , you have to come to your senses it's like me saying LRT is going to be the next scarlett

Re: 2004 Draft Re-Done

Are we going for what the teams want/would choose? OR just in order of best-to-rest?

Best avaliable. Tambling will be top 10 but is not better than anyone ahead of him on my list! 10-20 is difficult wasnt a very strong draft after the top 10!

Re: 2004 Draft Re-Done

Daniel Pratt was just nominated to be AA and leads the competition this year for rebounds from 50 and yet Primsall, Slattery, Maric and Monfries ahead of him?

buddy at least he is a young player developing and will take time we all know that! so who have you got that are developing into very important players? your team is old and has not got leg speed!! yes they may have been good in the past but where are you headed now? at least we have the likes of tambling, deledio and cotchin to develop into a good side! good luck to those swans in the next few years!!

Maric last quarter effort against the dogs in round 22 basically won the match for the crows. If he's not atm, he will be easily next year. Love EEEvarn :thumbsu:

Good point, i'd have him about 10 on that last list, move tambling back to 11.

But it's hard to judge Pratt & Egan. Both were mature picks, both 21 before that draft and they were taken with 4th & 5th round picks. Egan was a Geelong project player who came through the VFL & Pratt had already been at 2 AFL clubs before going back to North.

So you are judging 2 guys who are 25 against 22y.o's

I probably don't watch enough Kangas games, although I would have seen 12+ this year.

Dunno, may have been his flop that put me off him.

So your saying Tiller is a better backman the Luke McGuane ?

Re: 2004 Draft Re-Done

Roughhead is too high, he's at least behind Travis Cloke and Ryan Griffin, and probably Van Berlo and Lewis.

Roughie kicked like 70 goals this year, on par with J Brown. Roughie >> Cloke.
