Why would you have 10,000 posts on a football forum when you're this clueless about football? I hope you have other interests that you understand more about.Lol. A bog average midfielder at best

Wait what? How is Gawn 'potential'? Big guys take longer to develop, particularly those who have done two ACLs.Is redoing the draft about what the players have achieved to date, or are we still going on potential?
Cunnington has had a better career so far

Gave him $50 out of his own pocket during the final team meeting because it was the best pre-season he'd ever seen, lol. Take that one to the ACCC if you must.Salary cap cheating accusations against Roos?

He came into the side in mid-2015, had a great second half of the season, had such a good pre-season that Roos gave him a bonus out of his own pocket, and became the best ruck in the competition. Started this year off beautifully before doing his hammy. You'd have to be a bit dim to suggest he's 'potential' because he's played less games - he's probably the best ruckman in the league bar none.
1. Fyfe
2. Martin
3. Gawn
4. Talia
5. Scully
Is how I'd take them. Can't split 1 and 2, can't split 3 and 4. Rate Scully highly, absolute machine, but he's not as good as the first two and a midfielder is less valuable than a tall in the open market.
No, you wouldn't. Firrito and Anthony Rocca played 200 games, are they better players than Gawn too? Gawn's last 50 games are as good as anybodys in the competition.Gawn has only played 64 games. Based on careers so far you'd have to be dim to pick him in the top 3.

I understand what you mean, but you need to account for current output more than future output in a draft group that is only just about to hit its peak.If Gawns career ended now, then yes, Rocca & Firrito would be better options.
It's why I asked if it's based on output or potential.
Gawn has had 1 elite year. He has the potential to have more. Still, as it stands he's only had 1.

And I have it on good authority that Dangerfield has never once cracked the five hit-out markOver the course of an entire career? Yes.
You are confusing potential with facts.
Absurd comparisons.
Calm down.
Gawn has cracked the 20 disposal mark twice in his career.
And I have it on good authority that Dangerfield has never once cracked the five hit-out mark![]()
Sam Jacobs was 2006. Rookie upgrades =! drafted in 2009.If that's the case then Gawn is ranked 12th.
In fact, he's not even the best ruckman from his draft, as I would currently have Sam Jacobs ahead of him.
He is going toe to toe with Oliver - who is the 2nd coming. Will be a good duel.Lol. A bog average midfielder at best

Maybe by Bog average they mean "best on ground average". He did miss a quarter of the game but still had a massive impact on the game.Cunnington would have been Melbournes best player today.
On one leg

Overrating the value of a shut down FB in Talia. I'd also have Robertson, Grimes and Stratton ahead of Astbury.
You have Scully too high, but I can separate Scully and Cunnington for you.1 Dustin Martin/Nathan Fyfe (Can't seperate)
2 Tom Scully/Ben Cunnington (Can't seperate)
