Hey eth-dog
This is Nic Martin’s draft cohort, correct?

He’s be almost top 5 if it were done again?

Still early, but serious questions must be asked as to whether this will be the greatest draft of all time. Compare it to the drafts around it and there's no competition.

These players all look like being varying degrees of guns:
  • Walsh
  • Luko
  • Rankine
  • King bros
  • Rozee
  • Smith (down on output but his ceiling is very good)
  • Blakey
  • Butters
  • Quaynor
  • Hill
  • Briggs

Plenty of other serviceable types as well, or players with a lot of potential.

2001 is generally regarded as the best of all time but could it be surpassed? Lou codge, Ablett jnr and Judd were pretty good.

6 norm smiths. 7 brownlows.

Plus cogs in multiple flags such as Kelly, Hale, LRT and single flags such as Boyd, Ball, Brown, Lynch, Hansen, Seaby.

Can’t see it being overtaken. Ablett, Judd, Hodge, Mitchell is the best quartet from one draft ever I’d say, with guys like Swan, Johnson, Bartel & Lake not in that conversation.

Bont and Cripps are still 2 & 3 flags respectively from even pushing the top 5 of the 2001 draft though

Oh absolutely, however the 2018 class is constantly talked up (with good reason), and yet I still rate 2013 higher. I think people just forget how significant that draft was to what the competition looks like right now.

Only Collingwood could stuff up 2 top 10 picks in this super draft.

Rozee the first to 2 AAs and Butters the first coaches MVP from 2018 draft class

For a supposedly 'good draft' this ones been a bit of a stinker.
