It was a long ride home in the bus from "Corio" Oval tonight guys. The twos kicked themselves out of it and went down. The seniors gave them curry and by qr. time we looked pretty good. They got back into it and we chased them thereafter. We got done but we can beat them and that's what counts. We only had one field umpire and he was pretty sensitive to back chat. That cost us early on and it didn't help. We'll regroup and "MARCHON".
The quote of the match was from the umpire, "YOUR FREE KICK BRISBANE". To his credit he was heard earlier to say, "YOUR KICK ROYS".
It was great to see the Fitzroy jumper so far from home, just like the old days when we travelled to that ground on the other side of the Bay. Yes the ground where Brisbane has to go tomorrow.
