The way I see it, he'll be a very solid AFL player but I just don't see the out and out gun potential.

Would love Yarran too, but it has to be for the right price. I have a feeling it will be very difficult to complete the trade this year. Perhaps next year, once he is out of contract.

um, nah they didn't :/ they over paid in the past as in 80's and 90's which caused us to rely on to few talent!!!!! part of the big downfall of Richmond in that era, i haven't heard anything of recent times where we have payed overs (except to word off expansion teams) in excess!

yep, we've offered Martin truckloads so that Tigers will match it or at least increase their offer to him.
Leaves them with much less to offer Conca - around $230k/year. Now we swoop on Conca for $330k.
Get it done. Tigers can only take a player that will accept $230k.

His manager said he was asking for a lot less than $350k to stay at Tigers. A lot less, but not $120k less. If true, he might easily move home for a team that valued him at $330k - well I would

Don't see what all the hype is about. Average footballer. Would much rather Yeo and draft picks, then try to get some of our existing players playing in slightly different positions. Ash Smith in the midfield for example, shoot me down in flames now but all the negators on here will claim they always rated him if it turns out a success.

Conca isn't average.

He is more than just an average footballer. He would be a very good addition and strengthen our midfield massively. Have you even seen much of him play?

What qualities does Smith have that makes you think he could play as a midfielder other than his pace?

He lacks composure under pressure, rarely uses his pace and appears lazy at times. I think he can turn it around and become a good half back but I just don't see him becoming a midfielder at all.

Wellingham looks a star in our midfield.. Conca would just about be our best!!
