Shane Wakelin's presentation speech was the best I've heard. It was so reassuring to hear a player express such passion, pride and love for the club and guernsey. He conveyed his thoughts so beautifully and I'm sure it would have had a big impact on Reef and the younger boys. I always loved Wakelin as a player from the day he pulled on a Collingwood jumper and seeing him speak only adds to my admiration for the man.

Wrapped,
Probably the most exciting prospect from his draft year and on our list.
*Rapt. As in raptures. Normally I try not to make corrections like these, but the misuse of this particular word is one of my pet hates.

What makes that a good correction, is that I had no idea what was meant by "wrapped". I thought he was saying "all over" - as in "it's a wrap"

Done some nice things and didn’t look out of place on debut. Liked his blocking at a contest that allowed DeGoey space to gather and goal.

Reef looks a player. There definitely seems to be plenty more to come from him this season. He’s tough, tall, fast and moves well. If he can develop his tank further and stays injury free, I could see a Jack Steele sort coming out of him. Very solid debut against a tough side.

Looked good, and we’re better off getting games into him as he’s a big part of our medium to long term future.

Bubble boy?Who’s that.Anyway,I thought Reef showed good signs tonight and will only get better with more AFL experience.
