Logan McDonald follows pretty much everyone also. If only it counted for something 😂
Maybe one day it will, because we target him hard and don't let him get away like Jeremy Cameron and Tom Lynch

I don't think a bid will come inside the top 10, no matter this essendon noise. I don't think they'll actually do it.

Apparantely he wants to play for collingwood only.
I read recently he didn't mind where he plays... However indicated he would be more than happy to be at the Pies or Essendon. He is/was an Essendon supporter, his family barrack for Essendon and an Essendon player is providing him with training advice

I imagine most players would have that mindset. I would think pies would be his first choice, especially given we have first dibs. And has been in our system since he was 14

Yes, it does seem likely that Reef won't play much, if at all, in 2021, mainly due to his current poor fitness. That is just basic common sense, you can argue that's "being negative" if you want, but it's an incredibly stupid argument.

I've been more positive than most in judging Reef's potential, but like always you don't like the facts getting in the way of a good story.

He's having a go at your language choices - not the content of you post. I quite like your colourful, at times venomous, writing style, but it's not to everyone's taste.

But in terms of the 2km time, Reef's wasn't actually that slow. If you haven't trained for a 2km time trial, your time can blow out through stuffing up the pacing, particularly as the other players set an absolutely cracking pace this year. There is no reason for AFL players to specifically train for them, as in games players don't run 2kms at a steady pace. AFL endurance is more about repeat efforts and recovery than it is about running at the same pace for a long time. Obviously, you can assume that those who run really quick times are going to have excellent endurance for AFL, but you can't write off the endurance of those who don't, unless it's a real blowout.

I’d be interested to know if Reef did a yo-yo test at the combine, and what it was if he did. It would be far more reflective of his endurance on an AFL field with repeat efforts etc.

I heard Shannon Cox did a yo-yo test.

He got to 43 and they had to bake some more.

I've heard he was pretty good at rock the cradle and around the world, but struggled with walking the dog.

Argh Shannon Cox the KFC fiend.

No. There was no yo-yo. Just the vertical jump, 20 metre sprint, 2km etc that kind of stuff.

Walking the dog doesn’t translate much to what players do on an AFL field anyway. That’s why they included shooting stars at the combine.

I had to go to YouTube to discover that one. That was well beyond my yoyo abilities. I reckon you'd spend a top 5 pick on anyone who could pull that off regularly.

I’ve also seen it referred to as “shoot the moon”, it’s the looping trick not the other nonsense I see on YouTube.

Ah. I do know it then and used to be able to do it with my coke yoyo. I might need to adjust my selection criteria. There's no way I was a top 5 selection.

This is the interview I saw him giving after the combine on the oval.

When I saw the 1st Video in the Series I thought what that Interview was about

Yeah, I was wondering what it was for too, after the combine finished and I saw him being interviewed.

The thing I find interesting is that none of the highlights you see of this kid are him doing anything on the inside, yet he's supposed to be an inside mid? I get that he didn't play the position much, but surely there's got to be some highlights of him doing something in traffic.
