Wolves against United in MD 1 falls into that category.

I don't recall there being any claims to replay the game.
Again it's not black and white. The Wolves v United is a subjective call from a referee. Is it a foul, maybe? Some refs would give it, others wouldnt. GKs are massively protected etc.

The Diaz goal is black and white. So it's not the same at all.

Again subjective. I think you all dont understand what actually happened on the weekend haha.
I don’t think you do and can’t with those blinkers on

Probs cos in all previous cases, it's subjective.

This one isnt.

We've all copped shit decision though and no one else is asking for a replay.

We missed out on a win last season because the VAR guy didnt want to embarrass his mate who was reffing. Shit decision happen to every team every sesson.

I understand that. This one is very different. Hence the uproar from the footballing world.

Is anyone uproaring apart from Liverpool fans?

Its not that different, its just a dodgy decision. They come in all shapes and sizes just be this is a first(apparently lol) it doesnt make it any worse. Happens to us all.

Do you not watch like football shows? Or do you just watch Chelsea games and then dont go on the internet?

Cos bro, it's like everywhere!?

And it's uproar from everyone, not just Liverpool fans.

Do you have links to this uproar?

Yeah we all have. For instance against Spurs last year Kane two footed Robertson and got away with it. Jota got flattened. No penalty.

That's not a problem. The decision was made on the day that was final.

Just last season through an error VAR ruled Saka onside for the first goal Arsenal scored in a 3-2 in over us. As it was the decision they made at the time it was accepted and moved on from.

What has never happened before is a VAR or any referee ruling a perfectly good goal onside and then it not proceeding to be registered on the scoreboard. VAR also knew this and didn't do anything, didn't even tell the onfield referee.

The difference with this is in the LOTG the VAR decision on offside/onside is final. At that stage any other result but a goal breaks the laws of the game. Regardless of any communication issues on the day - the VAR decision to award the goal is absolutely final.

This scenario has never happened before in PL history pre VAR and after VAR.

I can only find two other times this has happened in professional football history. Here they are:

First was a US League Championship match - ironically Howard Webb was involved:

Secondly was a FIFA World Cup qualifier:

These two times and the Diaz goal are literally the only times as far as I can find that this has happened in professional football history.

Zidane…. mate Elsa, Frozen. Which includes giving moderators step by step guides in post transfers ☺️. You don’t need to respond to everything, it’s just a game mate. 👍

Loving this season, although struggling to see many games due to travelling but as an Australian with the extra interest in Tottenham and a bandwagoning Villa fan it’s been an entertaining start. City don’t look head and shoulders above the rest either, whether they will do their customary don’t lose a game in the last 3 months of the season remains to be seen but they definitely look vulnerable. Don’t think Everton will go down either, statistically they are faring pretty well.

Except they came out afterwards and admitted they made the wrong call.

So yes, it is black and white.

I get its unique, but at the end of the day its just another bad decision that we've all had and cop and move on. Asking for replays is just taking it a bit far.

It's not just another bad decision. It's the only decision where the laws of the game have been broken in PL history. Bringing up bad decisions as a comparison is simply pointless with this one.

It's a bit like we play you at Anfield, field an ineligible player who scores a winning goal through an honest admin error on our side and the PL's side.

I can guarantee pretty much every fanbase would be demanding a replay of the fixture in that case - including Liverpool fans. A "sorry we made the admin error" about the ineligible player definitely would not and should not be accepted in that scenario.

For me, the right thing to do is organise an independent commission to review the situation and let them decide on the outcome. All stakeholders would surely accept that's the best thing to do in this case. This is absolutely allowed in the PL rules.

Haha bro, you need two of our players sent off, a legitimate goal not given to Liverpool and an own goal in the 96th minute just to win at home. Calm down.
I need to calm down?

I'm not asking for a replay every day for the past 4 like the leaders of your club.

Jurgen is so why wouldn't they.

Terrible leadership and little wonder their discipline on the field is so poor

Pretty funny coming from a Spurs fan. Clearly your previous discipline is great for winning plenty of trophies.

Nothing needs to change but communication protocol. Everyone in the VAR seat shouldn't feel pressure coz they got everything spot on. Referee did everything by the book as did the VAR who correctly allowed goal. Check complete was heard and away they went :D

All Webb needs to do is improve communication protocol. Not everyone needs to hear it, there's no integrity issues as we see with the audio. No one was cheating and saying "nah **** Liverpool, we don't like klopp no one will believe them anyway they're always whinging. HA HA HA"

We probably had 5 managers chalk that amount of games played to come up with that. How is that at all relevant to us under Angem

I'm talking about Jurgen losing the plot this year and the ill discipline your current squad has being linked to it. Blaming everyone else rather than looking at the clear problem of your teams need to tactical foul recklessly and being rightfully punished
