Liverpool want a replay because of human error, which of the following is it?

A) Joe Gomez going to sleep letting Richarlison in behind
B) Allison being in no man's land allowing for a simple tap in
C) Joel Matip kicking the ball into his own net
D) VAR. VAR. World is out to get us!
E) All of the above

VAR is video assistant referee. Not VPR video perfection referee

Or Klopp telling Ryan Mason last season to “worry about other things” when Diogo Jota didn’t receive a red card for a dangerous foul on Skipp last season.

The season would never finish if there was a replay every time
We gotta go back and replay parts of last season first

Replay the entire FA Cup!

Ok wrong thread, don't lock it yet chef
From a Stevenage perspective I'd welcome that! Ref got a big decision wrong in the Stoke game, and then told the Stevenage players he got it wrong, but by then it was too late.

Could have had Stevenage vs Liverpool, if Liverpool hadn't also lost.

Don't forget Klopp parking the bus with 8 bank with about 1 good defensive player in them. Keeping red hot Nunez on the bench for Gakpo lmao. Or just feeling his ego bruised when Big Ange has come in with a couple of months and already left him in his shadow.

Pool fans saying they would be the same for any other team, but they were bottom of the table for VAR decisions against last season and top 3 decisions for and they never said anything about integrity until now.

Good to have this level of transparency, and to have a commitment to actually change protocols and systems rather than just another apology, “human error”, and sweeping the issue under the rug.

Hopefully the use of VAR improves as a result of Liverpool forcing the issue with this complaint. Tribalism aside I don’t think anyone would disagree this was needed.

As a fan, it would also be great if this type of audio were routine going forward and we could hear the referees working through decisions live.
You really want to put them under more pressure? They can't even get it right now.

I agree with you though, every other sport I watch has the live audio of a TV review.

Nope. You again make it about the team that was involved. The same result would be if this was Crystal Palace v Wolves. The integrity of the game is still in question and should be resolved but it wont be and we all know that so we just have to cop it on the chin.
Wolves against United in MD 1 falls into that category.

I don't recall there being any claims to replay the game.

Everybody else who've had something go against them seem to have a moan then move on pretty quickly.

No other team has had a legal goal scored, ruled onside by match officials and then not being registered on the scorecard. This has never happened.

Pretty sure most fans would have been calling for a replay if Jota stayed on the pitch after 2 yellow cards through an honest error and scored a last minute winner.

No they wouldn't.

This is so beyond embarrassing. It's a sport played where human error is going to be a factor. Sometimes (despite best intentions), things will unfortunately not go your way. Get over it.

Nah, its just seems to be Liverpool which is a bit sad. Cant remember a team taking a dodgy decision as badly as this.

But hey i think thats enough replay talk now.

I'm not the one bringing it up in this thread, it seems others can't get over it. It should be discussed in the referee thread.

There have been countless times where a good goal has been scored and incorrectly ruled out by the officials.

Yeah, as I said many times it should be in the referee thread. This is not just a dodgy decision it is a decision that breaks the laws of the game. It seems some posters are desperate to keep regurgitating it in multiple threads because they are obsessed.

Just for absolute clarity on dodgy decisions against Arsenal last season in a 3-2 loss their first goal scored was erroneously ruled onside by VAR when it was actually offside. There was no controversy over that whatsover. Because the decision made on the day was onside and that's it.

In 0 of those instances was those goals ruled legal by the match officials on the day. So while you keep bringing this up it's absolutely irrelevant. If you want to incorrectly bring up other examples you can do it in the ref thread.

Due to human error the right decision was never conveyed correctly due to a human error. Laws have not been broken. It sure why you can’t understand that. A replay would open a world of problems for FA as club complaints about decisions would soar and tbh I would hate to see some of the ramifications. Liverpool are coming out of this very poorly with their stance. It’s an error and let’s make sure doesn’t happen again ..that’s where it should end

Haha bro, you need two of our players sent off, a legitimate goal not given to Liverpool and an own goal in the 96th minute just to win at home. Calm down.
